Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, donated on Friday SAR70 million to Saudi Arabia's fifth National Campaign for Charitable Work through the Ehsan Platform.
The campaign kicked off on Friday.
King Salman contributed SAR40 million, while Crown Prince Mohammed donated SAR30 million.
The donations reflect the continued commitment of the Saudi leadership to charitable and humanitarian efforts, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. They highlight their dedication to strengthening social solidarity and community cohesion.
Chairman of Ehsan Platform's supervisory committee Majid Al-Kassabi expressed gratitude to the leadership for their significant contributions.
Such generous support demonstrates the Kingdom's commitment to facilitating charitable acts with transparency and efficiency, he stressed.
Donations to the campaign can be made via the Ehsan Platform's website, mobile app, the unified number, or designated bank accounts.
The Ehsan Platform operates with support from the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), ensuring compliance with Shariah guidelines under the supervision of a dedicated Shariah committee.

During his speech, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman lauded the continued efforts of the Saudi authorities in serving the Two Holy Mosques, the Holy Sites, and their guests, which led to the success of the Hajj season. He praised the employees of various government sectors, as well as male and female volunteers, for implementing the Saudi State's policies to ensure a safe and peaceful Hajj experience for all pilgrims. Moreover, the Saudi Crown Prince reiterated the Kingdom's commitment to exerting all efforts to ensure the comfort of pilgrims. The Crown Prince's remarks came during a reception at the Royal Court in Mina Palace, where he received the Pakistani Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif; Saudi Arabia's Grand Mufti; senior scholars; several princes; and high-ranking officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Mina on Thursday to supervise the comfort and services provided to pilgrims during Hajj. He also ensures the pilgrims perform their rituals with ease, safety, and security. Pilgrims from around the world gathered at Mount Arafat on Thursday to perform the pivotal ritual of standing at Arafat, known as the pinnacle of the Hajj pilgrimage. Saudi Arabia announced that over 1.5 million pilgrims from outside the Kingdom have arrived to perform Hajj this year. Ghassan Al-Naqmi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, shared the approximate number of foreign pilgrims, without disclosing the number of domestic pilgrims. Meanwhile, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, reviewed the readiness of the Special Emergency Forces participating in this year's Hajj security operations. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he received a briefing from Lt. Gen. Mohammed bin Maqbool Al-Omari, commander of the Special Emergency Forces, who detailed the force's role in crowd control and the organized stoning ritual at the Jamarat site, as well as their broader mission in maintaining order and ensuring the safety of pilgrims.
