An Auburn theater company is looking for child actors
AUBURN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Calling all child actors! The REV Theatre Company in Auburn is seeking young performers for their new production of Bonnie & Clyde.
Think your child has what it takes to hit the stage? The REV theatre is seeking two roles.
Young Clyde: A rambunctious kid from the age of 10 to 12 years old. He sees himself as an idol looking up to Billy the Kid and Al Capone, and his biggest inspiration for the life of crime he dreams of taking on. This role requires both strong vocal and acting abilities. According to REV, they are looking for a vocal range top: C5, with a vocal range bottom: C#4.
Young Bonnie: Is your daughter a gregarious and outgoing young girl between the ages of 10 to 12 years old? Then you might just have a chance. Bonnie dreams of being a movie star, the next Clara Bow in her eyes. Her life revolves around her appearance and her aspiration to lead a bigger life. REV is looking for Bonnie to have a vocal range top: C5 or bottom C#4.
To accommodate the performance schedule, the REV Theatre may hire multiple children.
The theatre is asking those who are auditioning to submit existing footage of you or your your child singing – anything that shows off your voice and acting ability. Please also submit a current picture (and resume if applicable) indicating age and height.
Callbacks will be in May or early June.
Rehearsals begin September 8, 2025. Performances begin September 24, 2025. Visithere for the performance calendar
Some daytime rehearsals are required. A modest travel stipend will be provided. The theatre is only interested in hiring locally. Please note that – while none of this involves children – the show does have adult themes and circumstances involving robbery, murder, sexual references, and simulated violence.

'Grand Theft Auto VI' Gets New Trailer & Screenshots
Black America Web Featured Video CLOSE Unfortunately, we're not getting Grand Theft Auto VI this year, but Rockstar Games had another trailer to keep up the buzz around the game. It's been a long time since we got the first trailer revealing GTA 6, and for the new one, which Rockstar Games seemingly came out of nowhere with for its highly anticipated, recently delayed game and it's blessing us with even more insight into the game, while keeping the same energy from the first trailer. Without showing off much gameplay of the game, which Rockstar Games boasts is 'the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet,' and visually, that does seem to be the case, GTA 6's second trailer is heavily focused on the game's two characters, Jason and Lucia, and their 'Bonnie and Clyde' dynamic while featuring some of the key figures. Per a press release sent to us, a description of GTA 6's story reads as follows: Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive. We're Gonna Have To Wait Another Year For Grand Theft Auto VI GTA 6 was initially set to release this fall, a release window Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two Interactive, was confident in, but recently, the follow-up to GTA V had its release date pushed back to May 26, 2026, because it needed more time in the oven. Gamers have become quite used to Rockstar Games taking its sweet time with its games. It's been a decade since GTA V, which is now one of the most popular, profitable pieces of media in the world, selling over 200 million copies and having seen multiple releases on multiple console generations. The online component of the game also helped give GTA V more legs with its constant updates and kept fans at bay for the time being, and there is no sign of that slowing down anytime soon. So what's another year of waiting? If any video game studio deserves our grace, it's Rockstar Games, because it hasn't missed yet with its flagship game titles. Hit the gallery for more photos below. GTA VI Trailer 2 Is Finally Here Showing New Characters, Locations, and More
PCMag editors select and review products independently. If you buy through affiliate links, we may earn commissions, which help support our testing. The next Grand Theft Auto game has a second trailer coming almost a week after developer Rockstar announced it would be delaying GTA VI's release from later this year to May 2026. The new trailer is almost three minutes long giving us a better glimpse of Vice City in the game and far more knowledge of the storyline to Rockstar's next big adventure. This second release gives us more backstory to the Bonnie and Clyde-like characters that were introduced in the first trailer. Rockstar's new website for the game confirms the male protagonist's name is Jason, which has been previously leaked. He joins Lucia, who was named in the first trailer, and the two are romantically involved criminals who end up going on the run from the police. It wouldn't be a Grand Theft Auto game without criminal main characters. A description of the story on Rockstar's website says, 'Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.' Although the game is set within Vice City, there are further areas where the two main characters will likely explore when they're on the run. There are at least five other locations including Ambrosia, Grassrivers, Leonida Keys, Mount Kalaga, and Port Gellhorn. Other characters introduced in this new trailer include Boobie Ike, Brian Heder. Cal Hampton, Dre'Quan Priest, Raul Bautista, and Real Dimez. 2002's GTA Vice City was set in a 1980's version of Miami, and the previous trailer confirmed that the game would be making a return to the same place, but with a storyline set in the modern day. Last week, developer Rockstar confirmed it would be delaying the release of GTA VI from its previous 2025 date to May 26, 2026. The game is set to be released on Sony PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. There's currently no word on a PC release for GTA VI, which if Rockstar follows its normal pattern will come at a later date.
