Love Island's Shakira takes savage swipe at villa rival after beating them to final
LOVE Island finalist Shakira Khan appeared to take a brutal swipe at villa rival Dejon Noel-Williams after she beat him to the final. Shakira and Dejon failed to see eye-to-eye in the villa after she clashed with him and girlfriend Meg repeatedly. 4 4 During the process, Dejon made it clear that he thought Helena was better suited to Harry than Shakira. While Shakira aired her concerns about Dejon's authenticity and whether he was playing a game. Harry and Shakira finally found their way back to each other and ended up finishing in second place on Monday's final. Appearing on Love Island's Morning After podcast, Harry was quizzed on whether he felt Dejon's intentions were always genuine. Co-host Amy Hart asked the couple: "Do you feel like with Dejon, we felt sometimes he wanted his friends to go out with Meg's friends, so it was easier and you weren't dating across the aisle basically, so you could all sit together and be happy together." Shakira was seen smiling and nodding along to Amy's question as she appeared to hit back at Dejon for meddling in their relationship. As Shakira smirked, Amy added: "Shakira agrees." Amy explained that when Harry was with Shakira, Dejon was in his ear saying 'no, you're better with Helena', and when Harrison couldn't decide between Lauren and Toni, Dejon kept saying 'no, you like Lauren more'. Amy insisted Dejon was interfering in Islanders romances for his own gain, saying: "It just felt to us that he was trying to get his his friends with Meg's friends... end off." Harry replied: "There is some truth to that, like D will naturally want that. Awkward moment Love Islander's smile drops after Maya Jama makes on air joke about her "As a four we all got on really well, I would say that was across the villa, everyone saw me and Helenaev apart from Toni and Yas, eeryone was kind of rooting for us. "I wouldn't say it was just D, we've had conversations and I know he wants the best for me, he can see how happy I am with Shakira." Proving some of her villa haters wrong, Shakira added: "We've had a wonderful last week, it's been great, it's been magic. "If this is the start then I'm looking forward to what's to come." Yesterday the Love Island's voting percentages were revealed after two bombshells scooped the £50,000 prize last night. Las Vegas waitress Toni Laites and professional dancer Cach Mercer went head-to-head with OG islanders Shakira and Harry. However, Toni and Cach were triumphant and won the summer series after surviving a love triangle just two weeks before the final. In third place were Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes, followed by Angel Swift and Ty Isherwood in fourth. A results table shared on Love Island's Instagram account this afternoon showed Toni and Cach were the runaway winners on the night, taking over a third of the votes, with 33.5% of viewers backing them for the crown. However, Shakira and Harry drew a sizeable 26.2% of the votes, and Yas and Jamie were not far behind taking 22% on the nose. Aesthetics practitioner Angel, 26, only made her debut on July 17, but managed to secure an impressive 18.3% of the overall voting audience with Casa Amor boy Ty. They received the highest percentage of votes for a fourth place finish in the show's history. Toni and Cach won the show after getting back together following her second fling with Harrison. She finally dumped the footballer after she discovered Harrison had slept with Lauren twice days before their reunion.
