Brian McFadden marries again

Yahoo06-07-2025
Brian McFadden has married for a third time. The former Westlife singer - who was previously wed to singer Kerry Katona from 2002 to 2006, and later god engaged to Delta Goodrem before marrying model Vogue Williams in 2012, only to separate three years later - has tied the knot with Danielle Parkinson after nine years together. The couple, who are parents to Ruby, four, were joined by friends and family including Brian and Kerry's daughters Molly, 23, and Lilly, 22, at the nuptials on Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay on Saturday (05.07.25). Both Brian and Danielle have shared photos and videos from the wedding on their Instagram accounts, showing their matching white outfits, as well as sharing photos from their guests on their Instagram Stories. The 46-year-old pop star proposed to the PE teacher in 2019 and the couple originally planned to marry in 2021, but pushed back their plans by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And they then decided to further delay the wedding until their daughter was old enough to join in and guests could mingle freely without worrying about social distancing. Speaking to OK! magazine, in June 2021 after the first postponement: 'We've moved it again. We were meant to get married in South Africa this coming January but with Covid and Ruby only being nine months old by then, it could be difficult. 'So we've put it back another year to 2023. 'Ruby will be walking by then and hopefully the world will be in a different state, and people won't have to worry about testing and isolating as we're having 50 guests.' Brian recently admitted he regrets not being around much for his eldest daughters when they were young. In an interview with Closer magazine, he said: 'I was only a kid myself when I had Molly and Lilly, and I was at the height of my career in Westlife then - we were literally working 365 days a year, and there was no FaceTime so I couldn't speak to the kids. "I could only see them when I came home. So it was a lot harder and I missed out on a lot of the stuff that I would have loved to have seen with the girls.' He revealed things are very different with his youngest girl - and he's determined to be a hands-on father. He added: 'With Ruby, I have a lot more time so I can be at home and be a hands-on dad. 'It's the only thing I like about modern technology, that I can speak to all my children now whenever I want - which is a luxury we didn't have in the past.'

Ozzy Started With Style, and Built From There

His journey from small-time criminal to heavy metal's comic Prince of Darkness started with clothes. Growing up in Birmingham, England, Ozzy Osbourne didn't see much of a future for himself, so he decided to give it a go as a cat burglar. His main target, according to his 2009 memoir, 'I Am Ozzy,' was a clothing shop not far from home. On his third attempt, he recalled, 'I managed to nick some shirts.' But he was arrested soon afterward and sent to Winson Green Prison, a century-old facility that looked like a medieval fortress. His six-week jail stint caused him to reconsider his plan to become a career criminal. He took jobs in an auto parts factory and a slaughterhouse. Inspired by the Beatles, he wanted more than anything to join a rock 'n' roll band. The first step he took toward this unrealistic-seeming goal was to change his appearance: 'I didn't even know anyone who could play a musical instrument,' he recalled. 'So, instead, I decided to grow my hair long and get some tattoos. At least I'd look the part.' He was the same age as many of the young people who wore bright, flowing garments during the so-called Summer of Love, but he detested flower power. When he finally joined up with some old schoolmates to form Black Sabbath, he made his way toward a style that represented a dramatic departure from the cheerful hues favored by the tie-dye crowd. The hippies liked soft fabrics that reflected an innocent view of a world, where peace and love would win out in the end. Ozzy favored capes and heavy boots. He had gone to jail, not college. It took him a while to find a style that worked, especially before the money rolled in. 'I'd walk around in an old pyjama top for a shirt with a hot-water tap on a piece of string for a necklace,' he wrote in his memoir, adding: 'You had to use your imagination. And I never wore shoes — not even in winter. People would ask me where I got my 'fashion inspiration' from and I'd tell them: 'By being a dirty broke bastard and never taking a bath.'' Ozzy Osbourne's legendary final performance raised a staggering $190M for worthy causes

Ozzy Osbourne's final concert earlier this month raised around $190 million for several charities, according to multiple news outlets. The rocker, who died Tuesday after battling a number of health issues, performed his final concert, "Back to the Beginning," July 5. Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, the event's musical director, wrote on social media of the concert, "'Back to the Beginning' More than 190 million dollars will be donated to houses and hospitales [sic] for children. Boom. We set out to not just create the greatest day in the history of heavy metal," according to The Independent. The proceeds will go to Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorn Children's Hospice. "THANKYOU @ozzyosbourne for trusting me to be the Musical Director of the 'Back To The Beginning' show," he wrote on Instagram. "It was over a year of hard work but heavy metal was the music that made me love music and it was a labor of love. We raised a ton of money for a great cause and so many great musicians & bands & fans all over the world paid tribute to the ALL TIME greats." Osbourne told The Independent in 2022, "I will get back on stage if it f----- kills me, because if I can't do it then that's what's gonna happen anyway, I'm gonna f------ die. I love to see them audiences." The charity concert was the highest-grossing of all time, according to Billboard. Osbourne played with Black Sabbath during the Birmingham, U.K., and bands like Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Mastodon and Gojira also performed. The concert lasted around 10 hours and culminated with Osbourne singing with the original lineup of Black Sabbath while seated on a throne. Osbourne struggled with his health in the last few years of his life and was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2003. The Black Sabbath frontman admitted he couldn't walk anymore on a Jan. 29 episode of his Sirius XM show, "Ozzy Speaks." "I may be moaning about how I can't walk, but I look down the road, and there's people that didn't do half as much as me, and they didn't make it," he said at the time. In 2003, Osbourne was in a serious ATV accident when his quad flipped onto him while he was riding around his London estate. In 2022, the "Mama I'm Coming Home" singer underwent surgery to remove and realign pins in his neck and back. Ozzy's back problems likely stemmed from the all-terrain vehicle collision. At the time, he underwent emergency surgery for "a broken collarbone (and) eight fractured ribs that were pinching crucial blood vessels and damaged vertebrae in his neck." "I'm just waiting on some more surgery on my neck," he told Classic Rock magazine in May 2022. "I can't walk properly these days. I have physical therapy every morning. I am somewhat better, but nowhere near as much as I want to be to go back on the road." Fox News Digital has reached out to reps for Osbourne and Morello for comment.

‘Four kids from Aston' – Black Sabbath members bid farewell to Ozzy Osbourne

Black Sabbath bassist Terence 'Geezer' Butler has said he is 'so glad' the band reunited with Ozzy Osbourne one final time, just weeks before the singer's death at the age of 76. The music superstar's death was announced in a statement to the PA news agency saying he was 'with his family and surrounded by love'. In a post on Instagram, Butler paid tribute to his long-time bandmate and friend, reflecting on their final performance together during a farewell concert at Birmingham's Villa Park earlier this month. 'Thanks for all those years- we had some great fun. 4 kids from Aston- who'd have thought, eh?' he captioned an Instagram post. 'So glad we got to do it one last time, back in Aston. Love you.' The emotional tribute came as bandmates Bill Ward and Tony Iommi also expressed their grief. Iommi, the band's guitarist, said he was 'devastated' by the news. 'It's just such heartbreaking news that I can't really find the words, there won't ever be another like him,' he wrote on Instagram. 'Geezer, Bill and myself have lost our brother.' Where will I find you now? In the memories, our unspoken embraces, our missed phone calls, no, you're forever in my heart. Deepest condolences to Sharon and all family members. RIP Sincere regrets to all the fans. Never goodbye. Thank you forever. Bill Ward — Bill Ward (@billwarddrums) July 22, 2025 Ward, Black Sabbath's drummer, posted a photo of himself and Osbourne on X, writing: 'Where will I find you now? In the memories, our unspoken embraces, our missed phone calls… no, you're forever in my heart.' Earlier this month, Osbourne bid farewell to fans with a Black Sabbath reunion, telling thousands of heavy metal enthusiasts at Villa Park – a stone's throw from where the band was formed in 1968 – that it was 'so good to be on this stage' as he performed his last set from a large black throne. A family statement said: 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.' Singer Yungblud, who performed Changes at the concert on July 5 with a recording of the live cover released for charity, paid tribute to Osbourne, calling him 'the greatest of all time'. Osbourne and his fellow original Black Sabbath members were the last to appear on stage as part of the star-studded line-up for the Back to the Beginning concert. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Geezer Butler (@geezerbutler) Bands including Anthrax, Metallica and Guns N' Roses were on the lineup, and there were messages of thanks from other celebrities including Jack Black, Ricky Gervais and Dolly Parton. In an Instagram post, the singer, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, shared photos of the moment he gave the late heavy metal singer a cross on a necklace, similar to the one Osbourne had previously given to him. He wrote: 'I didn't think you would leave so soon the last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room. 'But as it is written with legends, they seem to know things that we don't. I will never forget you – you will be in every single note I sing and with me every single time I walk on stage. 'Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own. You asked me once if there was anything you could do for me and as I said then and as I will say now for all of us the music was enough. You took us on your adventure – an adventure that started it all. 'I am truly heartbroken. You were the greatest of all time.' Sir Elton John described Osbourne as a 'huge trailblazer' who 'secured his place in the pantheon of rock gods'. 'He was a dear friend and a huge trailblazer who secured his place in the pantheon of rock gods – a true legend,' Sir Elton wrote on Instagram, adding: 'He was also one of the funniest people I've ever met. I will miss him dearly. To Sharon and the family, I send my condolences and love. Elton xx.' Osbourne's theatrical stage presence, including once biting off the head of a bat and styling himself as the Prince of Darkness, marked him out as a controversial figure. Born John Michael Osbourne on December 3 1948, in Aston, Birmingham, he left school at 15 and did odd jobs, including factory work, before teaming up with school friend Butler in several bands. Black Sabbath went on to become one of the most influential and successful metal bands of all time, selling more than 75 million albums worldwide. The group were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 and Osbourne was added for a second time last year. He rose to further fame alongside his wife Sharon – whom he married in 1982 and with whom he has three children, Aimee, Jack and Kelly – through their MTV reality TV series The Osbournes. In 2020, Osbourne revealed he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and he paused touring in 2023 after extensive spinal surgery. He had a fall at home in 2019, which aggravated injuries from a near-fatal quad bike crash in 2003, stopping his No More Tours 2 shows from going ahead in Europe and the UK. The tour had previously been rescheduled several times because of illness, the Covid-19 pandemic and logistical issues. He told Good Morning America in January 2020 that it was discovered he had the neurodegenerative disorder after a fall. He said: 'I did my last show New Year's Eve at The Forum. Then I had a bad fall. I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed all my nerves and I found out that I have a mild form.' He and wife Sharon, who was also his manager, met when she was 18 and they married on July 4 1982 in Hawaii. Daughter Kelly, 40, duetted with her father on the UK number one single Changes in 2003. He released his 12th studio album Ordinary Man in 2020, followed by Patient Number 9 in 2022, which went to number three and two in the UK charts, respectively.
