40% Of All Violent Crime Suspects In German Schools Are Foreigners, Over 2 Knife Attacks Per Day
In total, there were 4,254 foreign suspects and 7,309 suspects with German citizenship, the German government announced in response to a parliamentary inquiry from Alternative for Germany (AfD) MP Martin Hess.
Of the 11,558 suspects in total, 1,236 had Syrian passports, representing one in ten violent incidents, according to the data, which was provided to Welt newspaper.
In second place were Afghans, who represented 3.6 percent of all suspects.

What should be noted is that an extremely large number of German suspects are individuals with a foreign background, but since they have German passports, they are counted solely as 'Germans.' Even with those with dual citizenship, they are only counted as Germans. Neighboring Denmark records the data of Danish citizens with a foreign background, giving the country a better idea of integration efforts and trends in foreign crime.
In total, there were 35,570 violent crimes in Germany's school system last year. That amounts to 97 violent crimes per day. Of those crimes, 740 were knife attacks. That is over two knife attacks per day.

However, when all crimes are taken into account, they total 94,318. On top of that, 24,292 crimes took place at school events, such as a school field trip or theatrical production, which also included an additional 284 incidents involving a knife.
'These are shocking figures that show that our children are exposed to increasing danger even in supposedly protected areas,' commented AfD MP Birgit Bessin, who submitted the parliamentary question.

The number of crimes among young people in general grew by 3.8 percent from 2023 to 2024, according to crime data (PKS), and for children under 14 years of age, they rose by 11.3 percent to 13,755.
AfD domestic affairs expert Hess says the connection between mass immigration and growing dangers inside schools is clear.

'These worrying developments are a direct result of the irresponsible mass immigration of recent years,' he told Junge Freiheit. 'Anyone who allows millions of culturally alien young men into the country and believes that integration will happen on its own is endangering internal security and social peace.'
Hess told the German news outlet that there needs to be a 'rethink' on the issue.
'We need effective border controls, the decisive deportation of criminal foreigners, and an end to the ideologically motivated multicultural experiment,' said the former police instructor. The state must 'once again be a sanctuary for citizens, not an educational project of left-wing utopians.'

Germany is no longer the EU's top destination for asylum seekers, as applications from Syrians plummet following the fall of Bashar al-Assad in December, according to an unpublished EU Agency for Asylum (EUAA) report seen by the Financial Times . The report says the bloc's asylum system is undergoing a 'significant shift,' with May 2025 seeing 64,000 applications — nearly 25% fewer than the same month in 2024, according to the Financial Times. The drop was driven by an 'extremely abrupt' fall in Syrian claims, from about 16,000 in October 2024 to just 3,100 in May. 'Since February Germany has no longer been the top EU+ destination; Spain, Italy and France all received more applications in May 2025,' the EUAA writes. The Financial Times writes that Germany, long a top choice for Syrians, saw overall claims in May fall to 9,900 from 18,700 a year earlier. Spain now leads with 12,800 applications, mainly from Venezuelans fleeing the 'severe economic and political crisis' in their country — a trend the agency partly links to U.S. deportations. Italy is second with 12,300 claims, driven by Bangladeshis and Peruvians. France follows with 11,900, led by applicants from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, and Haiti. The EUAA stressed the fall in Syrian claims is 'likely not due to any asylum policy changes' but 'rather, the shift likely reflects changing circumstances in Syria.' Despite the decline, Germany still hosts the largest asylum seeker population, having granted asylum to 150,000 people in 2024, compared to about 50,900 in Spain, 40,000 in Italy, and 65,200 in France.

Kuwait Uncovers Major Citizenship Fraud By Single Syrian Family
Kuwait has revoked the nationality of 108 people after uncovering an elaborate fraud orchestrated by an extended Syrian family, the Ministry of Interior announced. According to local media reports, the investigation, months in the making, began when a man was stopped while trying to flee through Kuwait International Airport. Under questioning, he admitted he had obtained Kuwaiti nationality illegally and revealed that several of his siblings were in fact his Syrian brothers, all posing as Kuwaitis. At the centre of the scheme, officials say, was a Syrian national who had forged documents to be listed as the father of dozens of others. His civil file eventually ballooned to include 53 names, none of whom had legitimate claims to citizenship. Further digging exposed his brother, who had used marriage records and falsified kinship documents to extend the fake family tree. Together, the brothers built an interlocking network of fraudulent files that spanned generations, marriages and dependents. Using DNA testing, investigators proved there were no biological ties to the Kuwaiti citizens under whose lineage they claimed to belong. The probe, which officials describe as the most sophisticated of its kind, is still widening. Kuwait's Supreme Nationality Investigation Committee is reviewing hundreds of additional cases, and more than 200 Syrians are expected to lose their citizenship in the coming weeks. Kuwait recently revoked the citizenship of more than 1,060 individuals in what is being described as the largest nationality fraud operation in the country's history, following an intensive investigation that uncovered decades-long networks of forged identities and falsified records. The investigation was led by the Supreme Committee for the Investigation of Kuwaiti Nationality, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior's Nationality Investigation Department. The campaign uncovered decades-old fraud networks involving forged identities, false family claims, and dual nationalities.
