Need a last-minute gift for dad? Here are some perfect gift ideas for Father's Day
D.I.Y. Lifestyle expert Denise Wild has her top five gifts for the handy dad in your life.
Sunday marks Father's Day, and if you haven't secured the perfect gift yet, there is still time to think of some thoughtful and useful last-minute ideas.
Whether you have a handy or outdoorsy dad, CTV Morning Live invited craft and lifestyle expert Denise Wild this week to give some of her gift ideas that are sure to impress the man in your life.
For the handy dad
For the guy who loves to build, Wild recommends a tool upgrade that will help him tackle his next project with ease.
The best place for that? The Home Depot.
'They have such a wide range of affordable projects for any number of projects that he's about to take on, maybe it's a clamp band, drill kit, maybe you're getting him a mechanics toolset or that jobsite backpack,' Wild said.
Making dad's day is easy at The Home Depot, with several incredible deals still available from top brands, including power tools, hand tools and tool storage.

For the guy who loves being outside
With the beautiful weather, we want to protect ourselves from mosquitoes.
A dad who likes the outdoors will love the Thermacell E55 Rechargeable Mosquito Repeller, which the whole family can benefit from.
'It gives you this 20-foot defence zone from mosquitoes for five and a half hours. Super easy to use,' Wild said.
The devise uses advanced technology that will consistently drive away the critters. It's perfect for use on your patio, while camping or at the cottage.
The Thermacell is currently selling at 50 per cent off at Canadian Tire for $39.99.

Make his morning routine shine
Dad will love a new prep station to keep all of his getting ready accessories at hand in a beautiful display.
Wild suggests a tiered wooden display case to keep all his things tidy.
'Anything he could possibly need, it'll be beautifully displayed, it'll be right there,' Wild said.
You could also consider a new signature fragrance for the man who wants to smell good.
Wild recommends Boss The Scent Elixir, featuring notes of red pepper, lavender and sandalwood.
'It is such a deep rich gorgeous fragrance. Dad will surely love this,' she said.
The fragrance is available at Sephora and Shopper's Drug Mart.

For the food-minded dad
If you're looking to really treat the man that you love in your life, make him a savoury dish that includes all the flavours that he'll enjoy.
Wild recommended a simple dish like a quiche topped with prosciutto di parma rolled up into little flowers. She then added figs to top it off.
'I used prosciutto di parma which is kind of the gold standard,' she said.
'It just is this rich, savoury taste that is so versatile, it's good for any number of dishes.'
The dish is also gluten-free with no hormones or additives.
