‘Squid Game' Finale: Top questions about hit Korean drama answered!

Time of India8 hours ago

The final season of 'The Squid Games' has officially dropped, and while a lot of previous questions were answered from the previous season, a new set of doubts presented themselves in the last season. One of the biggest plot twists that fans were presented with is
Cate Blanchett
's cameo at the end of the show.
Here's the answer to some of the questions that may have been bothering viewers after the finale.
What happened to Gi Hun? Is he still involved in the games, or is this the end
There is no true end, as was the message delivered in the show. While Gi Hun made the ultimate sacrifice to save Jun Hee's newborn child, it still leaves room for what may unfold in the future. The character's last words on the show, 'We are not horses. We are humans', also matter a lot, relating to how the show's tagline was based on how low humanity can sink.

What happened to the Front Man character in the games?
In Ho is well and alive, as seen in the final moments of the last episode. The Front Man lives and escapes with Jun Hee's baby after ordering the island to be destroyed. While his fate in the show remains a bit of a mystery, one thing is sure that his role is not over yet. After delivering the final box to Seong Gi Hun's daughter in LA, the actor can be seen watching Cate Blanchett, who takes on the role of the next Salesman.
Does anyone survive in the games?
In Ho, The Front Man is one of the main survivors of the game, along with Jun Hee's child. Almost all of the main cast were killed off within the first few episodes, with Hyun Ju's death starting the chain reaction. In the last scene, only Minggy, Gi-Hun, and Jun Hee's baby remain.
Did The Front Man and Gi Hun finally meet?
In Ho had joined the second season as a player, and in the final season, the two finally met as Player 456 and the Front Man. He depicts that he has died in the show; however, he later reveals his true identity.
What about the mastermind of the game?
The mastermind behind the game was originally Oh Il Nam, who is already gone and confirmed to be dead by now. In Ho took over after his death and had been controlling the game till Gi Hun's death, after which the island was destroyed. While this seems to be the end of the games in South Korea, a new chapter may be on the way in the United States. Cate's mysterious character, who is seen playing the infamous game of Ddakji, paves the way for new possibilities.
Are there any 'Easter Eggs' in the show?
There are a couple of things that were portrayed throughout the show that can be counted as 'easter eggs'. The first one is the phrase 'today it's me, tomorrow it will be you', which may directly point towards the fact that there is still a future for the show, even though Gi Hun and everyone else's story comes to an end.
Another phrase in Korean is also seen in the show, ('Beware of people, idiot'), which can be seen as a foreshadowing of the betrayal the fellow characters will be facing from Minggyu (Player 333). An ironic phrase was also written right at the beginning of the show. The words 'safety first' can be seen in the first episode of the final season.
Were the authorities able to find the game? Did Detective Jun Ho succeed?
In short, no, Detective Jun Ho did not succeed in bringing the Squid Games down in season 3. He and No-Eul, made it out safely, with the show ending on the detective receiving Jun Hee's baby and a gold credit card with the winner's amount on it. He had managed to discover that Captain Park was the corrupt insider who was in on the games.
Before Jun Ho could take proper action with the authorities, The Front Man, also known as In Ho, ran away and disappeared, tying up all loose ends on the way out by destroying the island.
What happened to the masked VIPs in the show?
The VIP's in the show managed to escape rather than face the consequences of their horrific decisions. While the ending of their fate remains mostly ambiguous, they're seen sipping on drinks and laughing about, enjoying the player's misery, perfectly showcasing the class and status disparity that divides all.
Will there be a spin-off next?
The creators of 'The
Squid Game
' have time and time again confirmed that season 3 will be the final chapter in the games. On the other hand, the possibilities are endless, as Cate Blanchett's mysterious woman enters the scene, playing the game with people in LA to recruit them. The fate and point of certain characters such as In Ho and No-Eul also remains to be explored, leaving the doors open for something new.

5 beginner mistakes to avoid in Honkai Star Rail

(Image via miHoYo) HoYoverse's Honkai: Star Rail's immersive deep progression systems and turn-based combat make it an exciting experience. Here are the 5 common Honkai Star Rail mistakes to avoid which every new trailblazer must steer clear of for a smoother journey across the stars. Do not fall behind, trying to hoard resources, or you will continue hitting walls within Forgotten Hall and Simulated Universe. Honkai Star Rail Beginner's Guide - 15 BEST Tips to Progress Smoothly! Spreading resources without strategy A quick way to stall progress is pouring all the valuable materials into too many characters at once. While the temptation for leveling up all-new units remains strong, scattering limited resources will leave you with the underpowered core team. So, always ensure Honkai Star Rail team composition to be strategized. Keep your focus on building two to three synergistic teams that are capable of handling diverse challenges. Concentrating upgrades on the key damage supports, dealers, and sustain units would ensure you have needed resilience and firepower for demanding endgame models like the Memory of Chaos from the start. Overlooking stellar starting crew Resist your urge to bench all the initially free characters for some shiny gacha pulls. The starter roster of Honkai: Star Rail—Dan Heng, Trailblazer, Natasha, and March 7th are surprisingly robust. Honkai Star Rail character upgrades remain tailored for early successes and offer essential roles like healing, solid damage, and shielding. The early enemies quite often share weaknesses that are aligned with elements of characters, making them effective. Natasha and March 7th particularly offer crucial cleansing and are able to sustain. It remains viable in the mid-game content, too. Investing in them will ensure you have a reliable core team while you gradually continue building others. They are far more than the placeholders. Not targeting enemies with Honkai Star Rail combat strategies Turn-based combat is not just about spamming attacks. Positioning matters, too. There are some skills, like the AoE strike of Trailblazer, that deal extra toughness damage to the primary target. To hit the enemy in the middle could break multiple foes all at once, while to attack a flanked target would just hit an extra. Trailblazer's Skill can deal equal damage to all the hit enemies, but the primary target will be suffering a greater depletion of Toughness. In the same way, Ultimate of Arlan would inflict the greatest damage on some specifically targeted enemies. So, always ensure to check the attack ranges and give priority to enemies, which can maximize the efficiency of the team. Neglecting the Light Cone power, use, and compatibility Complete Beginners Guide to Honkai: Star Rail - HSR Guide for Genshin Players Light Cones are quite powerful but do not be dazzled just by their raw stats or rarity. To equip high-rarity Light Cones can seem like a no-brainer, but the passives only get activated if the character matches the Path of the Cone. Destruction characters using the Hunt Light Cone can lose out on some crucial bonuses. Note: The 5-star Light Cone might look like an instant upgrade. If the passives, though, do not align with the role of the wielder, it's wasted. Always ensure to check Path alignment before you assign gear. Herta's Store free five-star Cones are powerful, but only when they are used correctly. In short, you must always ensure to match the Path Symbol on the Light Cone to the Path of the characters for Full power. Only then will you get maximum efficiency. Avoiding the above-said simple mistakes early on would ensure you have a smooth journey through the cosmos. Just keep your focus on Honkai Star Rail resource management, balanced teams, and smarter pulls, and you will maximize progress with ease. Endgame in Honkai: Star Rail demands strategy and not just your style to dominate the toughest battles. Game On Season 1 continues with Mirabai Chanu's inspiring story. Watch Episode 2 here.

Was KayDianna Garza silenced for exposing the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader scandal? Inside her shocking suspension and sudden exit

KayDianna Garza left the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders after four years with the team (Image via her IG) KayDianna Garza, a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader (DCC) and a key figure in Netflix's "America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" Season 2, recently concluded her tenure with the squad. Her withdrawal followed a challenging period where she became the first leader after veteran Chandi Dayle's resignation due to a rule violation during a team trip to the Bahamas. Was KayDianna Garza punished for exposing DCC secrets? KayDianna Garza, a fourth-year DCC member for the 2024-2025 NFL season, initially joined in 2021 to 'validate her own abilities,' stating, "All my life people believed that I was a great performer and dancer, but I never believed that myself. Trying out for DCC was my way of showing myself what everyone else saw in me!" She especially valued the emphasis on 'sisterhood' and giving back. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ColorsTV (@colorstv) The "Bahamas incident" significantly disrupted the DCC. Chandi Dayle allegedly violated policy by sharing the team's hotel with an unknown man. Dayle explained, "I was just kind of crumbling down and I was like, 'Dang, I feel like I have no one here to talk to, so it's nice to have someone to confide in.' I broke a DCC rule and had time with my friend. It was probably the wrong place and time to do that, but selfishly, I had to do it for me because I feel like I was just losing it. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Mini House for 60 sqm for Seniors with Toilet and Bath (Click Here) Pre Fabricated Homes | Search Ads Search Now Undo " Judy Trammell, DCC's head choreographer, validated Dayle's "leave of absence," leading to Garza's promotion. Assuming leadership brought personal setbacks for Garza. A TikTok Live, where she briefly mentioned Dayle's situation and hinted at a video to "talk about the whole thing," went viral, resulting in her suspension for "being a bully and harassing." Feeling the situation unbearable and unsupported, she decided to take herself out of the organization and respect herself. Garza stated, "I definitely didn't feel supported, I felt like I was just a body. It was as if Chandi got the perks of being a first leader and I got the responsibility part of it." Kelli Kelli Finglass verified Garza's exit was "her choice.' On April 27, 2025, Garza announced her departure on Instagram: "After prayerful consideration, I have made the decision to step away from my role with the Dallas Cowboys organization. While this was not the ending I had envisioned, it is one I felt led to make for myself, in full faith and peace. I'm deeply grateful for four unforgettable seasons—filled with growth, meaningful friendships, and memories that will stay with me forever. " She added, "Though this door has closed, I trust fully in God's plan and the new doors he is preparing to open. I do not view this as a setback, but as a divine setup for what's next. He is not finished with me yet, and I am stepping forward with expectation and joy for all he has in store."
