Raj & DK's Plans Reportedly, Raj & DK are planning to start filming 'Farzi 2' in December 2025. After finishing their current project, 'Rakt Brahmand', they will begin preparing for the new season. They have already talked about the story of 'Farzi 2' with Shahid Kapoor. The new season will feature a big face-off between Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi , and Kay Kay Menon. 'Farzi 2' is expected to come out in the second half of 2026 on Amazon Prime Video. The first season of 'Farzi' was released in 2023 and starred Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora , and Kavya Thapar . Shahid Kapoor's Current Project Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is busy shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj 's 'Arjun Ustara' with Triptii Dimri. Recently, it was announced that the team will begin filming the international portion of the movie in Georgia starting mid-May. They plan to complete the entire shoot by June. New Delhi: While reports of actress Urvashi Rautela having a temple dedicated to her recently stirred the internet, it's Pan-India star Samantha Ruth Prabhu who now truly has a temple in her name. A devoted fan of The Family Man actress marked her 38th birthday by inaugurating "The Temple of Samantha" in Alapadu village, Andhra Pradesh. A viral video of the event shows two busts of Samantha—one golden and another dressed in a green saree surrounded by vibrant floral decorations. The fan, identified as Tenali Sandeep, was seen cutting a birthday cake and hosting a special lunch for local children as part of the celebrations. Speaking to the media, Sandeep revealed that he has been celebrating the Citadel: Honey Bunny star's birthday for the past three years. 'My name is Tenali Sandeep. I hail from Alapadu gramam in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. I am a huge admirer of Samantha garu. I have been celebrating her birthday for three years now. I also put up this temple then. Every year, I ensure I feed the children and cut a cake on the day. Her philanthropy inspires me, and I want to follow in her footsteps" On the work front, Samantha will next be seen in Maa Inti Bangaram. Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has made an accomplished name for herself in her career of over more than a decade in the film business. Starring in some of the biggest hits in South Indian cinema she is now extending her role as a producer. Recently the diva shared that taking risks has become essential for growth and meaningful change . While speaking with IANS, the 'Citadel' star explained that while fear once held her back, her passion and purpose now drive her choices, giving her the confidence to back stories she truly believes in. She said, "You can't expect meaningful change without taking risks, and I don't think I've ever shied away from taking risks. More often than not, those risks have paid off, so probably after 15 years of learning and of being an actor, I believe I've gained that kind of insight and experience needed to be sure of the stories I want to tell." Her production house, is built on a foundation of trust and collaboration, with a team committed to delivering content that is intentional and wholehearted. She said, "We are confident that we support each other fully, and we are committed to putting out work that's intentional and never middling or half-hearted". Samantha also mentioned how producing has added knowledge to her understanding of filmmaking, allowing her to engage with every aspect of the process rather than just acting. The 'Theri' actor mentioned that she finds it incredible to be part of the entire process. With each process she feels that things are just getting started and will have more to learn, contribute and understand. Her debut production, 'Subham', is a genre-defying family entertainer filled with humor, horror, suspense, and heart. Written by Vasanth Maringanti and directed by Praveen Kandregula, the film introduces fresh talent including Harshith Reddy, Shriya Kontham, and Charan Peri. Music by Shor Police and background score by Vivek Sagar. The trailer of the film was released on April 29. Speaking of her own acting front, Samantha made a stellar comeback in the web series 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' co-starring Varun Dhawan and seems to be minting her foot firmly in the web series format as she is working upcoming series, 'Rakht Brahmand' which is expected to a fantasy thriller created by Raj & DK.
