Cyclists invited to take part in Wales Air Ambulance ride
The event, taking place on Sunday, September 7, will start in Cardiff and finish at the charity's headquarters in Dafen, Llanelli.
Nina Rice, head of fundraising – high value partnerships for Wales Air Ambulance, said: "We are delighted to announce that after last year's success the Cycle 100km for Wales Air Ambulance event is back.
"It is an exciting time to join our medics, as well as Shane Williams, to take part in this challenge."
The route will take riders through Bridgend, Port Talbot, and Swansea.
Dr Fliss Clarke, one of the charity's medics taking part, said: "As someone who recently took up cycling again in my late 40s, I'm really looking forward to taking part in this challenge.
"It's for anyone of any ability and a great fun way to raise much-needed funds for a great cause."
Rugby legend Shane Williams MBE will also be taking part in the ride.
Entry costs £100 and includes a cycling jersey, event medal, and the chance to meet Mr Williams and members of the air ambulance crew.
There is no minimum sponsorship requirement.
