"I got to explore Ancient Mayan temples in Mexico with Jimmy! We saw some incredible things," the fellow content creator wrote via Instagram. "Go check out his video." "It was SO fun exploring ancient Mayan ruins in Mexico. Will show some cool stuff I caught on camera next week!" she said in a separate note on X. Donaldson also shared a photo with Booysen from their trip and wrote, "We explored dozens of 2,000 year old ancient temples in the new video to see what's inside. One of my favorite vids :D." Newsweek reached out to Donaldson's representative via email for further comment. The couple explored the country while Donaldson filmed his latest YouTube video: "I Survived 100 Hours In An Ancient Temple." As it stands, the clip already has 43.8 million views on YouTube and is quickly rising. Following its release, Donaldson wrote on X: "I remember when videos used to get 37 views in a day not 37 million. I appreciate everyone that watches the videos and just know I would personally thank each of you if it was physically possible." Prior to Booysen's latest posts, she last posted about Donaldson on Instagram and X on April 7. On Instagram, she shared photos of the pair together at the 2025 Breakthrough Prize ceremony, and on X, she promoted his Beast Philanthropy video, "Rescuing Child Slaves in Africa." What People Are Saying Booysen shared further details about their trip in the comments of her post on X. Referring to the couple's recent trip to Egypt, X user @lordsp asked: "What is the most similar and less similar thing youve seen from being inside those in Egypt and these ones?" In response, Booysen—who has a master's degree in neuropsychology—said, "Most similar: the weird fact that both feel abandoned and modern people in both regions haven't replicated those structures since. Least similar: These temples are filled with paintings and statues, etc. The pyramids were completely empty (likely raided or never had art in it to begin with)." @observadorcity wrote: "What did you have to do to go up? The government has forbidden it since some years. There are videos of tourist going up the Chichén Itzá temple and the Police goes up to bring them down and the people shout and throw stones." Booysen replied, "We didn't go up! It's seen as disrespectful to the locals. Instead we went into the Calakmul temples and some other spots around Mexico." Additionally, Donaldson commented on Booysen's most recent Instagram post: "Cutie," he said. What Happens Next It's unclear if Donaldson and Booysen have set a wedding date yet.

(Photo by Michael Tran / AFP)(AFP) The highly anticipated wedding has stirred the internet, with viral speculations and reports about their star-studded guest list, Bezos' wedding gift to Sanchez, and now the musical acts. An insider told the outlet on Tuesday that the famous couple has booked Lady Gaga and Elton John for their big day. However, a Page Six source denied the claim, insisting that an overseas wedding is 'not even on Gaga's calendar.' The report comes after Sanchez gave her fans a sneak peek inside her and Bezos' $165 million luxury home in Los Angeles. Following the release of her book, The Fly Who Flew, the former journalist took to Instagram to share a video of her writing space. will.i.am is 'praying for the spirit' of Liam Payne seven months on from One Direction star's death

is "praying for the spirit" of Liam Payne. The 50-year-old rapper remembered the tragic One Direction star - who died in October 2024 at the age of 31 after falling from the balcony of his Buenos Aires hotel room - and admitted that, along with his former partner Cheryl and their eight-year-old son Bear, Liam is always in his thoughts. He told The Mirror: "I pray for Cheryl and her kid. I pray for Liam's spirit and his family." The former Black Eyed Peas star was speaking at the 11th Breakthrough Prize ceremony, where he complained that platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok are "seeded with hate" which means that only the "worst" will be brought out of their users. He said: "The place that is seeded with the most hate is the algorithm. If the algorithm amplifies hate, that means people are going to be the worst and say the worst. It's what we do on these platforms that scars and is weaponised to bring the worst out of everyone." The 'Scream and Shout' hitmaker insisted that bosses need to "change the algorithm" in order to implement any kind of positive change, especially amid the rise of artificial intelligence. He added: "They need to change the algorithm to be more mindful, especially nowadays as AI is growing. Do we want an AI that reflects how inhumane humans are to humans? That would be the worst configuration imaginable." Will previously warned that AI is an "illusion" that is not going to "express and rinse out emotions" as humans do. He told The Independent: "We're chasing algorithms… and so I'm here to wave a flag, like, 'Hey, if you're chasing algorithms, you're not going to beat an algorithm'. 'If an AI is going to create and compete to maximise the architecture of algorithms, well, the AI will do that better. "So in this TikTok race to get views and attention, if that is the spectrum of competition, we lose. 'We need to get back to truly being imaginative, truly rinsing out our emotions, not for algorithmic number counts, but just celebrating expression, and we're not doing that right now. 'And one thing AI is not going to do is express and rinse out emotions. It's not going to love. It gives you the illusion that it does. It could simulate love, but it's not going to love. 'And so people are concerned and worried, but they're forgetting our secret sauce. They're forgetting our humanity and what makes us us.

Will.i.am fumes social media 'must change' in wake of Liam Payne's death

Musician has said that there needs to be a major change behind the scenes at social media companies over hate speech and trolling after Liam Payne's death The Voice UK judge is blaming social network bosses for allowing hate speech and online trolling on platforms. The Black Eyed Peas star, 50, believes social media giants, not the music business, hold the key to young stars' welfare. He said: 'The place that is seeded with the most hate is the algorithm. If the algorithm amplifies hate, that means people are going to be the worst and say the worst. It's what we do on these platforms that scars and is weaponised to bring the worst out of everyone." ‌ He was speaking at the 11th Breakthrough Prize ceremony, which honoured science and mathematics luminaries. He made his plea to key players at Silicon Valley's biggest brands – Google, Facebook, X and YouTube. ‌ He added: 'They need to change the algorithm to be more mindful, especially nowadays as AI is growing. Do we want an AI that reflects how inhumane humans are to humans? That would be the worst configuration imaginable.' In recent weeks stars like Robbie Williams have proposed that record labels offer greater support to young artists dealing with the challenges of fame and fortune in today's digital world. The Black Eyed Peas star, who was close friends with the former X Factor judge Liam Payne, paid tribute to his pal on the red carpet. "I pray for Cheryl and her kid. I pray for Liam's spirit and his family," he said. Liam died aged 31 in Argentina after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires in October. An autopsy on his death states this was consistent with a fall from height, located on the third floor of the Casa Sur hotel on Godoy Cruz Street. ‌ The Sistema de Atencio Medica de Emergencia said in a statement on October 16: "British musician Liam James Payne, composer and guitarist, former member of the band One Direction, died today after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Palermo." Liam's cause of death was ruled down to "polytrauma and internal and external bleeding." Liam's internal and external haemorrhages in his skull, chest, abdomen and limbs all contributed to his death. Meanwhile, a UK inquest confirmed he died from "polytrauma" from multiple traumatic injuries. During his time in the country, the musician turned out in support of his former band mate, Niall Horan. In what was his final appearance in public, Liam was seen in a VIP box alongside the crowds at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires. Fans were ecstatic to see him and filmed him enthusiastically clapping along before he took the time to shake hands and interact. As he jumped down closer to them he was seen singing along to Summer Lovin' from the Grease soundtrack. He was wearing a dark denim jacket and plain white t-shirt. At the time, clips of Liam dancing and interacting with fans went viral on TikTok with some cruel trolls branding him 'cringe' and slammed him for acting awkward.

Katy Perry And Gayle King's Space Trip Sparks Backlash And Memes

(Photo by Michael Tran / AFP) (Photo by MICHAEL TRAN/AFP via Getty Images) Singer Katy Perry and morning TV host Gayle King took a very brief trip into space—while many were disappointed by the length of the trip, the internet did not disappoint with the resulting explosion of memes. The all-female crew also included scientists Amanda Nguyen and Aisha Bowe, film producer Kerianne Flynn, and Jeff Bezos' fiancée, Lauren Sanchez. The flight was manned by Blue Origin, the space tourism business founded by Jeff Bezos. This isn't the first headline-grabbing publicity stunt from Blue Origin—the company previously launched Star Trek icon William Shatner into space, which gave the actor something of an existential crisis. Later, Shatner wrote about how his experience highlighted the fragility of life on Earth and the vital importance of environmentalism, describing his space trip as invoking the 'strongest feelings of grief I have ever encountered.' Blue Origin's all-female launch was a little more lighthearted, sparking many viral moments, but the space trip proved controversial with critics. The memes were spilling onto timelines before the space trip had even begun, as footage of Gayle King apprehensively approaching the rocket proved a big hit on social media, with many finding Gayle's attitude relatable. The comically short length of the trip (about ten minutes) saw the crew float just above the Kármán line, widely recognized as the boundary separating Earth's atmosphere from space. The short time in orbit sparked plenty of jokes, and even skepticism, with some wondering if the crew had even visited space at all. After the capsule landed safely, Jeff Bezos himself went to visit the crew. Commentators noted that the billionaire stumbled and fell to the ground—but it appeared that the crew didn't see it. After exiting the capsule, Katy Perry and Gayle King dropped down to kiss the ground, instantly creating a new meme template. Before the launch, Perry said she was going to sing in space, and true to her word, the pop star belted out 'What A Wonderful World' in orbit. It's unclear how Perry's performance was received in the deathly, awe-inspiring stillness of space, but of course, the internet assumed that her singing was intrusive, and poked fun at the singer. While the event inspired many jokes, several commentators also criticized the launch as excessive, pointing to the environmental impact of rocket launches, and the huge amount of money being spent to normalize space tourism during a time of widening wealth inequality. Actor Olivia Munn described the space trip as 'a bit gluttonous' during a guest hosting appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends. 'I know this is not the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now,' Munn said. 'What are you guys going to do up in space?' During a post-flight news briefing held at Blue Origin's Texas facilities, Gayle King acknowledged the negative commentary, describing the critics as 'cranky Yankees and haters.' King said, 'I'm not going to let you steal our joy, but most people are really excited and cheering us on and realize what this mission means to young women, young girls and boys, too.'
