Hollywood icon Kevin Costner will receive the prestigious Eva Monley Award at the 12th Annual LMGI Awards.

Acclaimed Hollywood actor, director, producer and writer Kevin Costner is set to receive the distinguished Eva Monley Award from the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) at the 12th Annual LMGI Awards.
The awards gala will take place on August 23 at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in the United States.
A celebrated figure in the film industry for more than 40 years, Costner is being recognised for his outstanding commitment to the art of storytelling through the authentic and evocative use of real-world locations.
His filmography, which spans a wide range of genres and eras, is a testament to his ability to seamlessly integrate setting as a vital element of narrative.
Whether in the sweeping plains of 'Dances with Wolves', the nostalgic landscapes of 'Field of Dreams', or the rugged beauty of 'Yellowstone' and his latest project, "Horizon: An American Saga', Costner consistently demonstrates the emotional power of place in film and television.

Costner's impact on the industry has earned him numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award.
He broke into the spotlight with standout performances in films such as 'The Untouchables', 'Bull Durham', 'Silverado", 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves", 'JFK', 'No Way Out" and 'A Perfect World'.
Beyond acting, he has also made his mark behind the camera - producing and starring in 'Wyatt Earp' and 'Waterworld' and directing 'The Postman' and "Open Range'.
The Eva Monley Award - named in honour of the legendary location manager who worked alongside the likes of David Lean, John Huston and Steven Spielberg - celebrates individuals who have made exceptional contributions to filmmaking by elevating the role of locations in storytelling.
Past recipients of the award include Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Wes Anderson and Danny Boyle.
The LMGI Awards shine a spotlight on the creative vision and hard work of location professionals in film, television, commercials and global film commissions.
The annual event honours excellence across multiple categories, including Contemporary Film, Period Film, Contemporary TV, Period TV, Television Anthology/Movie-of-the-Week/Limited Series, Commercials and Film Commissions.
