Man, 47, dead after motorcycle hit by SUV in RM of Macdonald: RCMP

A 47-year-old Winnipeg man has died after his motorcycle collided with an SUV on McGillivray Boulevard, near Road 8 E. just south of the Winnipeg boundary, on Saturday. The man was driving his motorcycle east at 4 p.m. Saturday when a 17-year-old boy driving an SUV west attempted to pass another vehicle, Stonewall/Headingley RCMP said in a news release on Monday. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene in the rural municipality of Macdonald. The teenager's injuries were treated and he was released, RCMP said. Stonewall/Headingley RCMP said Monday they are still investigating the crash alongside a forensic collision reconstruction specialist.

What we know Ethan Parker, 12, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his chest on the 1500 block of East Pastorius Street in the middle of the day on Saturday. Teen charged after 17-year-old stabbed on Saskatoon city bus

A 15-year-old girl faces multiple charges after a teen girl was stabbed on a Saskatoon city bus Wednesday night. At around 10 p.m., officers were called to a stationary city bus at Wardlow Road and Appleby Drive for a report of an assault, the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said in a news release. Arriving officers found a 17-year-old girl with non-life-threatening stab wounds and cuts. She was taken to hospital for treatment. Police say an altercation between two groups of teenage girls had occurred on the bus, resulting in the stabbing. The suspects fled the scene but one was later arrested nearby, found in possession of a knife and cannabis. The 15-year-old suspect faces charges including aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon, and possession of a controlled substance. Police say they continue to investigate the incident.
