BoyNextDoor to return with new EP 'No Genre' in May

BoyNextDoor, a boy group created by rapper Zico, is set to return May 13 with its fourth EP 'No Genre,' the group's agency KOZ Entertainment announced Tuesday. The new EP comes about eight months after its third EP '19.99,' and four months after the digital single 'One and Only I Love You,' unveiled in January. With "19.99," BoyNextDoor entered the Billboard 200 at No. 40 and earned its first million-seller certification in Korea. The group's momentum continued with 'One and Only I Love You,' which became a career high. The song landed at No. 4 on Melon's Top 100 chart on Jan. 7 and climbed to No. 7 on the platform's monthly chart in February. Most recently, it ranked No. 9 on the weekly chart for April 7-13. It also topped Apple Music Korea's Daily Top 100 for 37 consecutive days through mid-February. Internationally, the track charted on Billboard's Global 200 and Global (Excl. US) charts. BoyNextDoor recently wrapped up its first solo concert series 'BoyNextDoor Tour 'Knock on Vol.1,'' performing 17 shows across 12 cities, including Incheon, Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, Miyagi, Fukuoka, Kanagawa, Singapore, Manila, Taipei, Hong Kong and Jakarta. Following the tour's success, the group will hold encore concerts in Japan and Korea. 'Knock on Vo.1 Encore in Japan' will take place June 28 to 30 at Musashino Forest Sports Plaza in Tokyo and the final shows will be held July 25 to 27 at KSPO Dome in Seoul.
