Fazura, Brother Finally 'Break Silence' – Will Appear In Court Regarding Hijab Supplier's RM4.65 Million Debt Claim
Subscribe to our FREE Since news broke that celebrity Nur Fazura Sharifuddin has been named in a lawsuit by a hijab supplier over unpaid debt, she has kept mum and not addressed the allegation. Fazura has been active on her social media, even hosting a live session on TikTok to sell her hijab line in conjunction with Teacher's Day. She has however chosen not to answer any questions publicly regarding the RM4.65 million debt owed by Tudung Fazura to supplier Obor Holding. In the latest update on the case, we have been made to understand that Fazura, named as the fourth defendant in the lawsuit, and her brother Ahmad Faiz Sharifuddin, named as the third defendant have engaged the services of legal firm Low and Partners. On behalf of their clients, the law firm responded to Obor Holding's lawsuit to inform that they have filed a memorandum of appearance at the Kuala Lumpur High Court for both. There is no information on when the case is due for mention. We previously reported that according to a statement of claim we sighted, Obor Holding Sdn Bhd, owner of Feline Malaysia, alleged that Pink Fate Sdn Bhd—commonly known to be co-founded by Fazura—was supplied with headscarves worth RM7,330,197.04 since June 2022. READ MORE: However, Pink Fate has only paid RM2,680,167.90, leaving an outstanding balance of RM4.65 million owed to Feline. Obor Holding also claimed it has faced increasing difficulty collecting payments since December 2023. In the lawsuit, Pink Fate was named as the first defendant and Fazfit Sdn Bhd as the second defendant. The statement of claim added that although Faiz later handed over a cheque co-signed with Fazura worth RM1 million on 3 September 2024, Obor Holding was unable to cash it—the cheque bounced, and they received a Return Cheque Advice notice from the bank. Obor Holding further clarified that all these transactions occurred while Fazura was still a director, before she stepped down from her role at Pink Fate in January 2025. However, her brother Faiz remains a director. Tudung supplier sues actress Fazura, brother over RM4.65mil debt
According to the statement of claim, actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin was a director in Pink Fate Sdn Bhd with her brother until her resignation on Jan 13 this year. (Bernama pic) PETALING JAYA : A tudung supplier is suing actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin and her brother, Ahmad Faiz, for allegedly failing to pay RM4.65 million owed for tudung shipments. According to the statement of claim, the plaintiff, Obor Holding Sdn Bhd, claims Pink Fate Sdn Bhd, a company owned by Fazura and Faiz, has paid only RM2,680,167.90 for 33 tudung shipments worth a total of RM7,330,197.04. Fazura, Faiz and Pink Fate are listed as defendants, as well as Fazfit Sdn Bhd, a company owned by the siblings and in which Faiz is a director. Besides being a shareholder in Pink Fate, Fazura was also a director in the company with her brother until her resignation from the position on Jan 13 this year. '(Fazura's) resignation from (Pink Fate), demonstrating an apparent lack of concern for the management of (Pink Fate), suggests (Pink Fate) may face liquidation to enable the other defendants to evade liabilities,' read the statement of claim. Obor Holding claims its representatives first met Faiz in early 2022 at the Fazfit office in Kota Damansara, during which the latter expressed interest in engaging the plaintiff to fulfil a high-volume order for tudungs. 'During the meeting, Fazura was presented by Faiz as his sister who is also a prominent Malaysian celebrity, widely recognised for her established and successful business ventures under her renowned Fazura brand. 'Fazura's reputation as a public figure and entrepreneur was emphasised, portraying her as an influential and trusted individual in the business industry. 'They highlighted her celebrity status as a cornerstone of their financial strength and success, further asserting that their ventures were supported by collaborative projects with government authorities and other prominent business partners,' read the statement of claim. Utusan Malaysia quoted Obor Holding director Lim Boon Hai as saying his company filed their suit last month after failing to get a satisfactory response from the defendants. 'We have found it hard to claim the money from them since the end of 2023. 'Since the suit was filed, we have received no response from their companies until now. The last time we communicated with Fazura and the company management was at the end of 2024. 'It seems they have no intention of resolving this issue,' he said. Lim claimed Fazura had given him empty promises, as well as a cheque that bounced in September last year. 'Our company is in dire financial straits as a result of this, forcing us to take these steps to resolve the matter,' he said.

KUALA LUMPUR: The founder and managing director of Obor Holding Sdn Bhd, Lim Boon Hai, 42, has expressed his disappointment, claiming that a company linked to popular actress and entrepreneur Nur Fazura Sharifuddin has failed to settle a debt of RM4.65 million. Lim, known as Sam, told Harian Metro that his company is pursuing legal action after Pink Fate Sdn Bhd allegedly failed to make the agreed-upon payments. "I am very disappointed with what she (Nur Fazura) has done. This is the worst and most serious experience I have ever been through," Sam said. "This case was filed at the Kuala Lumpur High Court last month (April). Notices have also been sent to the company owned by the celebrity, but no response has been received," he added. Sam claimed that the debt has severely impacted the finances of his companies, Obor and Feline. "Since the end of 2023, it has been difficult to get debt payments from them. We have tried various ways to contact the party there (Fazura) but have not received good cooperation. "Our main goal is only to obtain the outstanding balance," he said. He further alleged that a RM1 million cheque signed by Fazura and dated Sept 3, 2024, had bounced due to insufficient funds. "My party received a cheque of RM1 million from that party that didn't clear. I really didn't expect this to happen. "We have informed them about this matter so that they can use other alternatives to make immediate payments, but it was not honored," he said. Sam clarified that the transactions occurred while Fazura was still a director at Pink Fate, before her resignation in January. Her brother, Ahmad Faiz Sharifuddin, remains a director. According to a previous report, Obor Holding Sdn Bhd, the owner of Feline Malaysia, claims that Pink Fate Sdn Bhd, purportedly co-founded by Fazura, was supplied with headscarves worth RM7,330,197.04 since June 2022. Malaysia boasts a number of hijab brands, some of which are founded by beloved celebrities. Actress Nur Fazura's brand is one of the biggest in the country's hijab market, yet it has recently come under fire for allegedly owing its supplier. According to a statement sighted by The Rakyat Post, tudung manufacturer Feline Malaysia and its owner Obor Holding Sdn Bhd recently alleged that it's facing financial difficulties after its client, Pink Fate Sdn Bhd, owed it millions of ringgit. Pink Fate is known as the parent company of Fazura's Tudung FAZURA brand and Obor Holding claimed that it had supplied the company headscarves worth RM7,330,197.04 since June 2022. However, Pink Fate has allegedly only paid its supplier RM2,680,167.90, which means the company still owes an outstanding balance of RM4.65 million. In addition, the headscarf supplier said it faced increasing difficulties collecting payments since December 2023. The company is now seeking legal action against Pink Fate and its two founders – Fazura and her brother, Ahmad Faiz Shariffudin. It's worth noting that Fazura is no longer a director under the company, but all transactions mentioned in the document were made when she still held the position. According to the document, the RM4.65 million debt includes five additional orders made in June and September 2025, amounting to RM3.6 million. These new orders were made despite the previous debts remaining unpaid at the time of order. The document states that Faiz mentioned that the additional orders were made for the Ministry of Education, under the Merdeka Collection initiative. The Pink Fate co-founder also allegedly reassured its creditor that its company's financial capacity is sufficient, as it has partnerships with reputable companies and government agencies, like Boh Plantations Sdn Bhd (BOH) and the National Cancer Institute (IKN). While Obor Holding was handed a RM1 million cheque signed by Faiz and Fazura on 3rd September 2024, the company was unable to cash it. As it turns out, the cheque bounced and the company received a Return Cheque Advice notice from the bank. Obor Holding is currently in the process of filing a Judgement in Default against Pink Fate, as the deadline to respond has passed. However, behind this booming industry, a headscarf manufacturing factory claims it is facing financial difficulties. More shockingly, the manufacturer—Feline Malaysia—claims that these issues stem from a debt of nearly RM4.65 million owed by a company owned by popular actress and entrepreneur Nur Fazura Sharifuddin. Manufacturer Claims Company Owes RM4.65 Million According to a statement of claim we sighted, Obor Holding Sdn Bhd, owner of Feline Malaysia, alleges that Pink Fate Sdn Bhd—commonly known to be co-founded by Fazura—was supplied with headscarves worth RM7,330,197.04 since June 2022. However, Pink Fate has only paid RM2,680,167.90, leaving an outstanding balance of RM4.65 million owed to Feline. Fazura and Her Brother Named as Defendants Besides Pink Fate as the first defendant, the legal document also names Fazfit Sdn Bhd as the second defendant, Fazura's brother Ahmad Faiz Sharifuddin as the third, and Fazura herself as the fourth defendant. The document further claims the RM4.65 million debt includes five additional orders made in June and September 2024 amounting to RM3.6 million, despite the previous debts remaining unpaid at that time. Additionally, the document states that Faiz assured Feline the extra orders were made for the Ministry of Education under the Merdeka Collection initiative. Our checks found that this program took place in July 2024, in collaboration between the Ministry and Tudung Fazura as part of the 67th Independence Day celebrations. The claim further states that to reassure Feline of the company's financial capacity, Faiz and Fazura mentioned they were receiving government payments from previous projects and had strong partnerships with reputable companies such as Boh Plantations Sdn Bhd (BOH), Hotel Movenpick, and the National Cancer Institute (IKN). Obor Holding further stated that when the additional orders were made, the celebrity and her brother clearly knew—or ought to have known—that the company was relying on their 'representations' and was 'induced to proceed with fulfilling the orders based on a legitimate expectation that payment would be received for the orders placed' by the Tudung Fazura company. Obor Holding claims that, due to the assurances given, the manufacturer proceeded to fulfill the additional orders, which were this time delivered to Fazfit Sdn Bhd—known publicly as the company behind Fazura Skincare products. Unfortunately, their efforts were in vain as no payments were received from any party. 'The outstanding amount was combined with the previous unpaid balance, making the total debt RM4,650,029.14,' the statement reads. Received Bounced Cheque Worth RM1 Million The statement adds that although Faiz later handed over a cheque co-signed with Fazura worth RM1 million on 3 September 2024, Obor Holding was unable to cash it—the cheque bounced, and they received a Return Cheque Advice notice from the bank. Obor Holding further clarified that all these transactions occurred while Fazura was still a director, before she stepped down from her role at Pink Fate in January 2025. However, her brother Faiz remains a director. When contacted, Obor Holding stated that it is in the process of filing a Judgment in Default against Pink Fate, as the deadline to respond has passed.
