Horoscopes July 28-August 3: Chaos Finally Reaches Clarity
Horoscopes July 28-August 3, 2025. As we continue to navigate the confusion (and frustration) of Mercury retrograde, this week things could become a little clearer. The midpoint of the retrograde cycle (Thursday-Friday AEST and GMT) feels like things come into focus, just a touch. While the larger question marks hanging over a specific realm of your life aren't vanishing completely, there is a deeper sense of understanding. It feels like you can at least see what the problem or the solution might be. Sure, you're still going to need to put the plan into action, but at least the shape of a solution is coming into focus. The way we connect is also shifting this week. With Venus moving into Cancer, empathy, compassion, and romance are also on the up. Like a juicy, hydrating mask for your relationships, there's a restorative quality to the energy. It feels healing and nourishing at the same time; a very pleasant antidote to all the other fiery feels bouncing around. ARIES AND ARIES RISING Your best moment this week comes towards Thursday/Friday (AEST and GMT) when Venus brings a little sparkle to your home and domestic realm. It's the sort of astro weather that will have you thinking about new sheets or a sofa upgrade. It's a welcome distraction to a bigger roadblock that's likely been taking up a lot of energy and attention. Don't discount the value in a little indulgence, chances are a deep dive on is precisely what you need right now—enjoy it! TAURUS AND TAURUS RISING There's a big nostalgic flavour to this week, with Mercury retrograde asking you to retrace an issue, conversation or point of contention potentially connected to your family. It's not necessarily easy terrain, but there is at least a breakthrough on the cards towards the end of the week, where things become clearer – even if you still aren't in agreement over how it was handled. Elsewhere, your ruling planet, Venus, is getting a glow-up, encouraging you to reconnect with movies, books and music that take you back to pivotal moments in your own personal history. Make the playlist, binge the show and savour the sweet escape. GEMINI AND GEMINI RISING Ready to take a trip down memory lane? This week, there's a key change in the air, and you're being invited to step back in time. Nostalgia may not usually be your vibe, but you're getting a little nudge from the planets to look back through your belongings and remember when… It's a gentle, soft kind of escape from what has otherwise been some pretty hectic astro weather of late. In other news, your ruling planet, Mercury, is finding its feet (just a touch) as the retrograde cycle reaches a turning point. Expect to gain a new level of understanding around an issue that has been causing problems, potentially with siblings or neighbours. CANCER AND CANCER RISING Did someone say makeover? There's a nice little pep up in store for you this week as Venus moves into the front and centre of your chart. Shopping, pampering, or just making that hair appointment you've been meaning to book will stop sliding to the bottom of your to-do list. It's a very nice escape from another issue that's felt like a never-ending burden in recent weeks. It's not that 'the thing' is going anywhere, but you'll be able to find some reprieve in the simple act of self-care. Lean in and treat yourself, you've earned it! LEO AND LEO RISING There's some clarity in sight for you this week, making a welcome change to what has been an otherwise murky couple of weeks. Around the end of the week (AEST and GMT), you might hear back from someone whom you've been chasing for an answer. Alternatively, it might just be that you finally get to the bottom of what caused a misunderstanding or disagreement over the past 10 days. It's not an instant resolution, but having that deeper level of understanding will feel like a huge relief. Celebrate the small wins where you can. VIRGO AND VIRGO RISING If you feel like someone has been working against you over the past couple of weeks, this week could offer some much-needed clarity. Look for the information or intel that helps you understand their motives. It won't make the bigger issue disappear, but at least you might be able to dig into why they're acting the way they are. The back of the week also offers a nice little escape socially if you're in the mood. As Venus ignites your friendship zone, a forgotten group chat buried deep in your WhatsApp may be reignited, bringing a sweet, albeit unexpected, moment of nostalgia. LIBRA AND LIBRA RISING There are some major developments in store for Libra this week. An issue or misunderstanding potentially around a friendship dynamic reaches a turning point around Thursday/Friday (AEST and GMT). Keep your eyes peeled for some intel that explains why things have gone awry, or why communication has completely broken down with a friend. It doesn't make it better, but at least you can see some motives for their madness. Career-wise, there's some sweetness coming your way, with Venus bringing the vibe. It's giving fairy godmother vibes, so be open to receiving help, guidance or an introduction from a well-connected femme energy. SCORPIO AND SCORPIO RISING If work—or your boss, specifically—has been feeling especially chaotic, there's a glimmer of light on the horizon. With Mercury and the Sun connecting this week, you're receiving some new information that could explain why things have been so intense. Keep your eyes and ears peeled; it won't absolve them of their mistakes, but at least you might get a deeper understanding of why they're acting the way they are. Elsewhere, a little bit of Venus magic encourages you to connect with a place or culture that feels like home. Don't discount the healing power of nostalgia; booking an Airbnb back to the beach you holidayed as a kid might be the pep up you didn't know you needed. SAGITTARIUS AND SAGITTARIUS RISING The confusion and frustration you've been navigating the past couple of weeks should ease by the end of this week. As Mercury and the Sun team up, expect some context around why things (or people) have been acting the way they have (read: less than ideal). Another area of life that's been feeling undecided and somewhat heavy also gets a boost once Venus moves into Cancer before the weekend (AEST and GMT). Advice or counsel from someone close to you could be the boost you need to get moving on an idea or solution. Trust those who know you best to give you the sagest advice. CAPRICORN AND CAPRICORN RISING There's a delicious softening in store this week. Someone close to you gets a little boost, maybe some good news or the joy of reconnecting after spending time apart. It's a lovely reprieve from a bigger issue that's been feeling like a huge energy drain the past few months. Elsewhere in the sky, a misunderstanding or problem, potentially involving money, investments or your partner's cash situation, also gets a helping hand. The problem isn't fixed, but by the weekend, you should at least have a steer on what you (or they) need to do next. AQUARIUS AND AQUARIUS RISING If you're feeling tapped out right now, take comfort in knowing that there is a lot going on. You've been navigating what some may call 'collateral drama' the past couple of weeks, as Mercury retrograde causes confusion and uncertainty for someone very close to you. That knock-on effect of trying to help them work it out is a lot to contend with, but by Friday (AEST and GMT), things reach a turning point as they begin to understand the 'why' behind the dilemma. From there, putting plans in place should begin to be a little easier. In other news, if you've fallen off the wagon with workouts lately, expect things to improve by next weekend. Reconnecting with the joy that movement brings you will be a silver lining. PISCES AND PISCES RISING Creative fish are getting a delicious boost of inspiration this week. Towards the end of the week, you'll notice a tangible shift in the vibe. Venus moves into Cancer, bringing a flow and ease to all the ways you enjoy having fun. The knock-on effect is a softening of a larger situation that's felt both heavy and uncertain. Mercury retrograde is still delivering plenty of chaos to schedules, time management, and general adulting (seriously, double-check all your appointments—this is the time for cross wires). Still, the boost of artistic pleasure will be like a balm to your Piscean soul. Lean in and let yourself find joy in reconnecting to sources of inspiration from deep in your personal vault. You'll be glad you did.
