WATCH: Erie SeaWolves kick off 2025 season, raise banner
The Erie SeaWolves started their 2025 season Friday night by celebrating their 2024 Eastern League championship.
Sean Lafferty was live at UPMC Park where a special ceremony took place and there was a lot of excited fans there.
The Erie SeaWolves celebrate their 2024 Eastern League championship and the 2025 season opener on Friday evening.
There was a banner raising at UPMC Park before the first pitch at 6:05. There was also be a ring ceremony for SeaWolves employees on the field.
The SeaWolves are only the ninth team to win back-to-back titles in the Eastern League which started play in 1923.
