During a party in London in February, Melvin is thought to have gotten close to Married At First Sight star, Lacey Martin. It was understood that Lacey, 27, was Melvin's special guest after they had been messaging each other constantly for weeks prior. However, it appears that the romance did not last with Melvin now clarifying exclusively to The Sun that he is single. When asked about his romance with Lacey on the red carpet of the 2025 BAFTA TV Awards, Melvin told us: "No [I'm not dating her]. "I am just a friendly guy!" Re-affirming his relationship status, Melvin then said: "I am a single pringle - no mingling! "I am just focusing on my work." In terms of his upcoming projects, the star admitted he has filmed a slew of game shows - including one with Amanda Holden. Melvin said: "I've done loads of random game shows at the moment. TV Baftas 2025 "Amanda Holden has got one, Carol Vorderman has got one - I love Carol, she's amazing!" Melvin famously confessed that former Countdown host Carol Vorderman was his ultimate celebrity crush during his time in the Aussie camp. It provoked Carol to leave Melvin a very flirty voicemail message as the unlikely duo sparked a slew of romance rumours. The pair were seen hanging out with each other in March, shortly after Melvin revealed that Carol had snubbed one of his texts earlier in the year. 6 Melvin spoke to The Sun at this year's BAFTA TV Awards Credit: Getty Chatting to his former I'm A Celebrity campmate GK Barry on her Saving Grace podcast. GK asked Melvin: "Carol Vorderman. Have you had any update on that?" Looking deflated, Melvin replied: "I'll tell you the truth. I sent her a message saying, 'Thanks for being a great sport but here's my number. Give me a little call'. "She's not read it. It's been three weeks. Why would you not even just read it? "It's just been left there and I check it once a week. And I'm like, 'Oh, okay...'." 6 He appeared on I'm A Celeb last year Credit: Rex

Luke Newton Goes Instagram Official with Girlfriend Antonia Roumelioti
Luke Newton just took his relationship to the next level. The Bridgerton star went Instagram official with his dancer girlfriend Antonia Roumelioti over the weekend as he shared a loved-up photo of them from a British Vogue pre-BAFTA party. In the shot, Newton has his arm wrapped around Roumelioti and is kissing her cheek as she leans into him with a smile. "Pre bafta party with @netflix & @britishvogue 💃🏻," Newton, 32, captioned the post, which also featured three solo shots of him from the event, including a photo of him in the car on the ride over. Newton and his costar Nicola Coughlan were nominated at the 2025 BAFTA TV Awards for the steamy carriage scene in season 3 of the Netflix hit series, which saw their characters Colin and Penelope finally act on their chemistry. The May 10 ceremony came weeks after Coughlan, 38, also took the next step in her own relationship with actor Jake Dunn as they made their red carpet debut at the BAFTA Television & Television Craft Awards nominees party in April. Speculation about Newton's relationship with Roumelioti began this time last year, as he was in the midst of a whirlwind press tour with Coughlan for the premiere of Bridgerton season 3. He brought the dancer to the show's midseason premiere in London last June, and they were seen leaving the afterparty hand-in-hand, which marked their first outing together. They were later seen enjoying a romantic getaway in Sorrento, Italy, in July, and though they have continued to step out together, Newton's Instagram post with Roumelioti marks his first official confirmation of their relationship status. His afterparty debut with the dancer last year came following speculation about the nature of his and Coughlan's off-screen relationship. A source told PEOPLE amid fan theories that the actors were getting romantic in real life, that they were "just friends" and "supportive co-stars" but were "not dating." BAFTAs 2025 moments that weren't aired including Danny Dyer's expletive speech The 2025 BAFTA TV Awards saw a host of celebrities take to the red carpet at the Royal Festival Hall on London's Southbank on Sunday The 2025 BAFTA TV Awards brought together a star-studded line-up on the red carpet at London's Royal Festival Hall on Sunday (May 11). During the ceremony, hosted by Alan Cumming for the first time, several notable winners emerged. Blue Lights secured the Best Drama award, while Jessica Gunning from Baby Reindeer took home the Best Supporting Actress honour. Mr Loverman garnered multiple awards, with Lennie James and Marisa Abela claiming Best Leading Actor and Best Leading Actress, respectively. However, not all moments made it to the two-hour BBC One broadcast. Here's a glimpse at what didn't make the cut. The BBC was compelled to edit out parts of Danny Dyer's acceptance speech for Best Male Performance in a Comedy due to his use of several expletives, reports the Express. Danny Dyer let slip several swear words during his acceptance speech Article continues below The 47-year-old former EastEnders star won his first BAFTA for his portrayal of Lee in the Sky Max comedy series Mr Bigstuff. Overcome with excitement, Danny's speech included a string of swear words. "What a touch! Comedy performance. I thought my acting was so bad, it was funny," he started. He continued, "I want to thank Sky for giving our show a shot. F***ing hell, I'm choked up." Danny also thanked his co-star and writer Ryan Sampson, which led to further use of strong language in his speech. Alan Cumming had an unexpected blunder while presenting the BAFTA Fellowship Award "I got to dedicate this to Ryan Sampson. One of the greatest things to come out of Rotherham. Which is not saying much. But one of the best actors this country's ever produced, I'm telling you," Danny said. "Never done the same thing twice. Which is not something I can say. He wrote this part for me, so you know... I'm getting choked up again, f*** me. So, you won this for me mate, I really appreciate it, thank you so much." Towards the end of his acceptance speech, Danny turned his attention to his daughters, who were in the audience, with an affectionate acknowledgment: "Girls, Sunnie and Dani. I've done it girls, I've f***ing done it!" After Danny left the stage, Alan, the evening's host, promptly offered an apology for any offence caused by the language used, stating: "I've been asked to apologise for the naughty language there." Kirsty Wark won the prestigious BAFTA Fellowship Award Even Alan wasn't free from mishaps during the event, as he went on to experience his own slip-up while presenting the eminent BAFTA Fellowship Award to broadcaster Kirsty Wark. Alan accidentally introduced the award by calling it the "b******* fellowship," a misstep he quickly acknowledged with yet more colourful language: "Oh, f*** me!" Article continues below The ceremony also saw honours go to Mr Bates vs The Post Office for Limited Drama, while Strictly Come Dancing snagged the Memorable Moment Award for the routine performed by Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell. Nevertheless, despite being a major talking point among TV viewers, The Traitors notably did not receive any awards, a fact that left many fans of the show displeased. The BAFTA TV Awards are available to stream on BBC iPlayer
