Schools invited to join Uvongo litter compo
All schools are invited to enter the Uvongo litter awareness competition. The Uvongo Ratepayers' and Residents' Association is calling on local schools to take part in its 2025 Litter Awareness Competition, aimed at promoting environmental responsibility. There are two exciting categories: poster creation to encourage the public not to litter or trash sculptures that showcase creative reuse of discarded items.
More than R7 000 in prizes is up for grabs, including solar light units for the winning schools. To enter, contact Greta on 082 3314909 or Cathy on 0620793225. Supported by various local sponsors, the competition is part of an initiative to make Uvongo a cleaner, more enjoyable place for all.
