US rapper Cardi B's ginseng video surpasses 1m views on TikTok

US rapper Cardi B is creating a buzz over Korean red ginseng after posting a viral TikTok video on March 13, where she praised the revitalizing effects of products by JungKwanJang, a leading ginseng brand here. 'I just turned 30 and recently gave birth, so I've been feeling tired. Traveling between Miami, LA and New York has left me exhausted, but taking ginseng makes me feel refreshed and energized,' Cardi B shared in the video, promoting two ginseng extract products by JungKwanJang, the red ginseng brand operated by Korea Ginseng Corporation. The posting garnered more than 1 million views over the past two weeks. 'The response to Cardi B's video, especially under the hashtag 'Everytime,' has been overwhelming," a JungKwanJang official said, mentioning how the video gained traction under the hashtag of the products' name, Everytime. "We will continue to expand our global distribution and develop locally tailored products to solidify our position as a top-tier health company.' JungKwanJang recently participated in the 2025 Natural Products Expo West, the world's largest trade show for natural, organic and health products, held in California from March 4 to 7. At the event, the company showcased the benefits of ginseng through product tastings and a live Taekwondo demonstration, drawing significant attention from visitors and buyers. The company also unveiled three new Everytime products — Everytime PowerForm, PerformA and CaloTrim — which will soon be available on Amazon.

KGC awarded for ginseng research at US expo

Korea Ginseng Corp., the country's leading ginseng manufacturer, announced Monday that it received the Varro E. Tyler Award at the 2025 Natural Products Expo West, held last week in Anaheim, US, for its phytomedicinal research on ginseng. According to the company, the award, presented by the American Botanical Council in recognition of outstanding contributions to the field of herbal medicine and pharmacognosy, honors its commitment to proving the health benefits of ginseng through clinical research. The ABC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing reliable information on herbs and medicinal plants to consumers, healthcare practitioners and researchers. 'We are deeply honored that our decades of research and development have been recognized by such a respected institution,' a company researcher said upon receiving the award, vowing to further advance and globalize Korean health supplements. KGC has consistently advanced research and development in red ginseng and other health ingredients, earning key recognitions. Notably, it received certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for verifying red ginseng's benefits in regulating blood sugar levels and supporting prostate health. To further efficacy research and develop products tailored for global consumers, KGC established a research and development center in Shanghai, China, in 2013, followed by another in Los Angeles, US, in March 2023. These centers continue to explore the benefits of red ginseng and other health ingredients.
