Sabah JP Council launches charity raffle

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Justices of the Peace Council (Majaps) has launched its 2025 Raffle Project to raise funds for orphanages and old folks' homes. Tickets, priced at RM50, are open to life members and the public, with prizes including a Proton X50, Proton Saga, Yadea electric scooter, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and various home appliances. Majaps president Datuk Seri Clarence B. Malakun urged members statewide to support the initiative, noting that sales, while initially slow, are improving. Life member Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Ir. Shahelmey Yahya expressed his support during a recent courtesy call, wishing the project success.
