Blake Lively stuns at premiere amid lawsuit drama with Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds made a stylish appearance at the Another Simple Favor premiere in New York City on April 27, 2025, amid Lively's ongoing legal battle with director Justin Baldoni. The event, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center, celebrated the sequel to the 2018 film A Simple Favor, directed by Paul Feig and co-starring Anna Kendrick. Blake Lively, 37, wore a pale mint draped gown with geometric cutouts, accessorized with colorful jewelry, while Ryan Reynolds, 48, opted for a sharp gray plaid suit. The couple posed together on the red carpet, showcasing their continued public solidarity. Getty The Another Simple Favor premiere comes just days after Blake Lively was honored at the 2025 TIME100 Gala, where she acknowledged the challenges of the past two years during her speech. Lively's legal dispute with Justin Baldoni began in December 2024, when she filed a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign. Baldoni has denied the allegations and countersued Lively, Reynolds, and others for $400 million, with a trial scheduled for March 2026. Despite the ongoing legal issues, Lively continues to promote her projects and receive recognition for her work. During a panel appearance following the TIME100 Gala, Ryan Reynolds praised his wife's resilience, calling her strength "profound" and her coping mechanisms "amazing." Another Simple Favor is set for release later this year, and anticipation is high as Lively and Kendrick reunite for another stylish thriller.

Megyn Kelly slams Blake Lively's ‘ridiculous' Time 100 recognition: ‘She has no influence'

Megyn Kelly has a bone to pick with Blake Lively. The former Fox News anchor, 54, revealed she doesn't know why the actress, 37, was a part of the Time 100 list of influential people in 2025 amid her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni. 'It's a ridiculous joke. She shouldn't be there,' Kelly told the Daily Mail on Thursday. 'She has no influence over anything.' 10 Blake Lively speaks during the 2025 TIME100 Gala. Inside, the star of 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' gave a poignant speech, addressing a past trauma her mom had gone through. 'I have so much to say about the last two years of my life, but tonight is not the forum,' Lively began, alluding to the legal feud with Baldoni, 41. 'What I will speak to separately, is the feeling of being a woman who has a voice today, and since I could speak, because of the pain, cautions and fight of the many women who have paved the way, and the men who stood beside them. Millions I will never know the name of.' 10 Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds attend the 2025 TIME100 Gala. Getty Images for TIME 10 Blake Lively and Elaine Lively. Despite Elaine's sunny disposition, Lively has seen her mom go through tough times. 'But, at her urging and unwavering bravery, she wanted me to share with you that she is a survivor of the worst crimes someone can commit against a woman. I've watched her conceal her raw and undeserved shame my entire life, so, as her daughter, being asked to share this today is monumental. If we name it, we change it.' 10 Blake Lively and Elaine Lively attend the 2025 TIME100 Gala. Getty Images for TIME 10 2025 TIME100 Gala. She also accused him of orchestrating a retaliatory smear campaign against her. Baldoni, who was her co-star and director of the 2024 drama 'It Ends With Us,' denied the allegations and filed his own defamation suit against her, Reynolds, 48, and their publicist Leslie Sloane and Sloane's firm, Vision PR Inc. 'I think she launched a fake 'Me Too' allegation against him [Baldoni], and she's lived to regret doing so because virtually every allegation she's made has fallen apart,' she alleged to Daily Mail. 'And so, for her to be doing so, to try and ruin a man over absolutely nothing is a scandal.' The Post reached out to Lively's rep for comment. It starts with her. On Thursday, Blake Lively spoke at the Time 100 Gala in New York City after being named one of Time's 'most influential people,' where she seemingly gave a nod to her legal battle with Justin Baldoni. 'I have so much to say about the last two years of my life, but tonight is not the forum,' Lively said during her speech, which lasted around 6 minutes at Jazz at the Lincoln Center. Lively has been making headlines for over four months for her ongoing legal battle with her former 'It Ends with Us' co-star Justin Baldoni, 41. The actors' legal feud began in December when Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, who not only co-starred in 'It Ends With Us' but also directed it. In the docs, Lively said that the alleged smear campaign caused harm to her business and led to her family experiencing 'severe emotional distress.' Baldoni denied the allegations and countersued Lively, and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, 48, for $400 million over alleged defamation and extortion. Megyn Kelly says George Clooney 'should call me up' as their feud rages on

She may have been recognized at the 2025 TIME100 Gala as a Leader this week, but Megyn Kelly seemingly hasn't dropped what George Clooney previously said about her and her career. The 54-year-old journalist isn't one for shying away from controversy, and her thoughts on the Ocean's 11 star's opinion of her is certainly no exception , as she proved at the star-studded gala on Thursday. Earlier this week, George questioned "what" Kelly, a former Fox News anchor, has "done to be a journalist" during his sit-down with Patti LuPone for Variety's Actors on Actors: Broadway series. In response, Megyn fired back at the actor during an 11-minute-long tirade on her SiriusXM show. She added, 'Honestly, George Clooney tried to advise me on how to practice journalism? Take care, honey.' Megyn Kelly admitted that she wants George Clooney to hit her up (Image: (Image: Getty Images)) In fact, Megyn suggested, "You know what? He should call me up. I would love to talk to him about it. He's obviously got thoughts on me, so let's do that.' During her initial take-down of George during Wednesday's episode of her eponymous podcast, Kelly argued that she is a journalist despite what he believes. 'He's starring in a play about Edward R. Murrow because Clooney fancies himself a journalist, you see, and has lots of thoughts on how journalists need to do journalism,' she said. She continued to fume, 'He does it mainly by stumbling upon the biggest story of the decade, that a sitting President is mentally infirm and ought to be 25th Amendment'ed right out of office, and then burying it, saying absolutely nothing for weeks on end. 'And then only after that President humiliates himself on the national stage at a Presidential debate and then refuses to step down as the entire Democrat Party watches its electoral chances up and down the ticket go swirling down the toilet.' George Clooney previously questioned Megyn Kelly's journalistic abilities 'Finally, he decides to write an op-ed in the New York Times saying Joe Biden is not up for the job,' she went on. 'That's not journalism, George — it's cowardice and naked partisanship. You're not fooling anyone," Megyn then stabbed. However, Megyn wasn't finished there. She threw even more shade at the Oscar winner as she insinuated that he launched the Broadway production of his new show, Good Night, and Good Luck, which is an adaptation of his 2005 film of the same name, due to a shortage of roles for the star at age 63. 'So now he's starring in his Broadway show … by the way, what's the matter, George? Are the Hollywood roles getting a little hard to come by as you age and get decidedly more smug and self congratulatory? I'm just asking!' Megyan brutally remarked.
