Emirates Group Signs MoU to Boost Youth Careers in Aviation
The Emirates Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Federal Youth Authority to advance the development of Emirati youth within the aviation and travel sectors, establishing a strategic framework to cultivate the next generation of industry leaders.
Signed in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs, the agreement reflects a joint commitment to align with the UAE's National Youth Agenda 2031.
The partnership will focus on launching specialised training programmes, workshops, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at equipping young Emiratis with the skills needed to thrive in various roles across the Group's operations.
Sheikh Ahmed highlighted the vital role young minds play in shaping the organisation's future, praising their energy and innovation as essential drivers of growth. Dr. Al Neyadi echoed this sentiment, stating that the collaboration will provide youth with meaningful opportunities to contribute to national progress and global aviation leadership.
The initiative is also backed by the Emirates Group Youth Council, whose members have played a pivotal role in promoting youth engagement across the organisation. Their efforts were recently recognised at the 2025 Youth Councils Forum, where the Council was named among the UAE's top three private-sector youth groups.
Through this partnership, both entities aim to strengthen the talent pipeline and foster a culture of innovation and leadership among Emirati youth in aviation.
