Love Island: Absolutely Everything We Know About Boris Vidovic

Casa Amor is upon us, the annual time when the established Love Island couples get tested with the arrival of a whole new batch of singletons. It's a time they probably all dread, but we can't deny it makes for great TV for all of us watching at home. And with this season 12 of Love Island already being one of the most explosive series yet, we can't wait to see what's in store. The new arrival of boys and girls landed on our screens in last night's episode, and have already got the internet talking. One of the new singletons who isn't afraid to turn things on their head is Boris Vidovic - particularly given what he's said about finding love on TV before. Boris Vidovic is one of the six new boys entering the villa. The boys will head to the main villa, while the new batch of girls will shake things up in Casa Amor. Boris is a model, who lives between Ljubljana and Dubai - and he can speak five languages. Speaking to ITV ahead of the show, Boris says he knows 'Slovenian, Croatian, English, Spanish and a bit of German. Actually maybe six, the language of love!' When asked what he was looking for in a partner on Love Island, Boris kept his answer pretty open ended. 'I don't have an exact type, if her energy matches my energy, that's what I like. Besides that; a beautiful smile, a nice figure, and a great personality. I want someone around me that I can laugh with 24/7. If she can roast me, I love her already!' he said. Boris is 28 years old. This means he is one of the older guys in the villa, and he's the same age as Billykiss. Like fellow Love Island newbie Cash, this isn't Boris' first stint at reality TV. Last year, he took part in a Slovenian reality series Kmetija, translated as The Farm. The show follows contestants while they live on a farm without modern amenities like running water, bathrooms, or internet. Oddly on that show, he admitted to 24UR that he 'doesn't believe in finding love on TV' - but it seems he thinks differently this time around. During his appearance on the show, he also described himself as 'communicative' and someone who 'swears by positive energy and laughter.' In an interview with ITV before he went on Love Island, Boris said he was going to 'have to be the bad guy' as that's 'the game.' He continued: 'If I'm going in and there's someone beautiful waiting for me inside, I'm going to approach them for sure.' As for who he's got his eye on? 'I'm super attracted to Shakira, I think she's got a great personality and seems like a good girl,' he said. 'I'm sure we'd get along well and have a good time together, but I need to see in person, it's all about energy.' Yes, like many of the islanders Boris is on Instagram! Casa Amor star Boris's reality show past revealed as Love Islander boasts he ‘doesn't believe in finding love on TV'

LOVE Island Casa Amor star Boris Vidović previously appeared on a Slovenian reality show, where he said he "doesn't believe in finding love on TV". Model Boris, 28, who is currently attempting to turn heads in the ITV2 villa, was a contestant on Kmetija (The Farm) in 2024. The series saw contestants live and work on a farm while competing for a cash prize. At the time, Boris said he was taking part in the show for 'a new experience' and hoped to use the prize money to travel to 'exotic destinations'. However, in an interview ahead of filming, he expressed doubt about romance on screen. When asked about falling in love on reality TV, Boris told 24UR: 'I don't believe in it. I don't even think about it.' He also stated that he did not approve of nudity in front of the cameras. During his appearance on Kmetija, Boris described himself as 'communicative' and someone who 'swears by positive energy and laughter". He had no prior experience working on a farm or caring for animals but said he was not concerned about the challenges. But, following his Love Island debut, those familiar with his earlier TV stint rushed to a Reddit forum. One wrote: "I actually watched him, he was super unlikable and in this interview before the show he says that he disapproves nudity in front of cameras + he doesn't believe in love in a reality show. He also got a lot more new tattoos while in Dubai." Another added: "I'm embarrassed for my country, sorry guys! I heard he was bragging abot going on LI a while back and I said no waaaaay… Harrison becomes Love Island first boy to fall in Casa Amor "Edit: I worked with him on a photoshoot once…not a thought behind those eyes." Boris, who lives in Ljubljana, previously said he was single at the time of filming Kmetija. In his pre-villa interview for Love Island, he vowed: "I'm gonna have to be the bad guy! That's the game. "If I'm going in and there's someone beautiful waiting for me inside, I'm going to approach them for sure." On who he's got his sights set on, Boris added: "I'm super attracted to Shakira, I think she's got a great personality and seems like a good girl. "I'm sure we'd get along well and have a good time together, but I need to see in person, it's all about energy."
