Man inside home in SW Atlanta shot by someone outside
Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that injured a 24-year-old man. At approximately 10:40 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to 1380 Donnelly Avenue SW to reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his right arm. Police said he was inside the home when he was struck by gunfire, which came from outside the home. Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to investigate. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. Hatton Garden stabbing sees man, 24, rushed to hospital
A 24-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed on a Central London street famous for its jewellers. Police await an update on this condition following the attack which took place yesterday (Wednesday, June 4). The man was taken to hospital after being stabbed on the famous jewellery street after police were called there at around 3.40pm yesterday. He remains in hospital. Police say that no arrests have yet been made. Hatton Garden was closed yesterday while police investigated the incident. A spokesperson for the force said: 'On Wednesday, 4 June at 15:39hrs police were called to Hatton Gardens, EC1 following reports of an altercation. 'Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, who treated a 24-year-old man for stab injuries. He has been taken to hospital and we await an update on his condition. 'Road closures are in place while police investigate. No arrests have been made at this early stage. Impaired man arrested for driving over three times the legal limit: P.E.I. RCMP
An RCMP vehicle is seen in this file photo. (CTV News Regina) The Prince Edward Island RCMP recently arrested two men for allegedly driving while impaired. Police say the first incident happened in Stratford Friday afternoon. An officer stopped a vehicle around 4:30 p.m. for having expired registration, according to an RCMP news release. Police say a 24-year-old man went on to provide breath samples of 250 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood, which is over three times the legal limit. The Kings County man will appear in court at a later date. Police say the next incident happened in New Perth, about 10 km outside Montague, Saturday night. The driver was reportedly stopped for a driving infraction at 6:40 p.m. Police say the traffic stop led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man for impaired driving by cannabis. 1 dead after shooting in Downers Grove
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (WGN) – A man was shot and killed Saturday evening in Downers Grove, according to police. The Downers Grove Police Department said the shooting happened just after 6:50 p.m. in the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive. SEE ALSO: Police investigate series of burglaries at strip malls in Downers Grove, Woodridge The preliminary investigation revealed two men got into an argument with another man when several shots were fired. The victim, a 24-year-old man, was injured and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in critical condition before eventually succumbing to his injuries, according to investigators. Police determined the people involved in the incident knew each other and that there is no threat to the general public.
