Avengers: Doomsday Fans Think Thor Actor Will Return After New Photo

A prominent cast member of the MCU's Thor movies and WandaVision shared a photo with an extremely well-known Marvel prop, leading to speculations that she might be in Avengers: Doomsday. The highly anticipated superhero feature already has well over 25 confirmed main cast members and will likely add more as production continues. Actress Kat Dennings, who plays Darcy Lewis in the MCU, shared a photo of herself with Captain America's shield on social media. 'Don't get excited, I was just sampling the hardware,' the 2 Broke Girls actress wrote in the caption. Notably, Dennings has portrayed Darcy in Thor (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2013), WandaVision (2021), and Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). She has also voiced the character in What If…? Although Dennings' post advised fans not to get excited, they have already started speculating about whether her character would appear in Avengers: Doomsday. In the comment section of the post, one asked whether this photo was taken on the Doomsday set. Another wrote, 'Captain Lewis! Darcy best come back soon enough!' Dennings indicated in the caption of her post that she was not part of the Doomsday cast. However, Marvel has historically kept significant details about the cast and plot of its projects secret, sometimes until their release. The Doomsday cast is still incomplete, so Dennings and others could be announced later. Avengers: Doomsday premieres in U.S. theaters on December 18, 2026. Chris Hemsworth, Dennings' co-star from the Thor movies, is reprising his role as the MCU Norse God of Thunder in the feature. Accordingly, there could even be a subplot in Doomsday around Darcy and Thor. The Russo brothers are directing Doomsday. Some of the other cast members are Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm / Invisible Woman, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier. The Neighborhood Stages 2 Broke Girls Reunion — and Brings Back Character We Haven't Seen Since Season 1

It's a Williamsburg Diner reunion! CBS on Friday released photos from the April 28 episode of The Neighborhood, which reunites Beth Behrs (fka Caroline Channing) with 2 Broke Girls co-star, Garrett Morris (fka Earl Washington). More from TVLine The Neighborhood Spinoff: Justin Long Among 4 Cast in CBS Backdoor Pilot The Neighborhood Renewed for Final Season at CBS Ghosts' Asher Grodman Talks Trevor's Big Familial Surprise: 'I'm Thrilled We're Flying With This' The episode also doubles as a reunion for both Morris and Cedric The Entertainer (who guest-starred on 2BG as Earl's son Darius), and Morris and Tichina Arnold (who starred opposite the SNL legend on the Fox classic Martin). In the episode, titled 'Welcome to the Yippedy-Dip,' the Butlers visit a nostalgic, rundown restaurant from Calvin's childhood and encounter its owner, Jasper (Morris). The guest star-studded installment also marks the return of Marilu Henner as Dave's politically incorrect mother Paula, whose one and only previous appearance came in Season 1, Episode 8 ('Welcome to Thanksgiving'). This will mark the first time that Henner shares scenes with Max Greenfield's on-screen father, recurring guest star Kevin Pollak (aka Lamar). The Neighborhood was previously renewed for an eighth and final season — and has not one, but two potential spinoffs on the way: Tracy Morgan's Crutch, which received a straight-to-series order at Paramount+, and an as-yet-untitled Malcolm and Marty spinoff on CBS. The latter, which has not yet received a series order, will air a backdoor pilot on Monday, May 5, that doubles as The Neighborhood's Season 7 finale. In an Instagram post on March 10, Behrs expressed how 'grateful' she was that The Neighborhood would get the proper goodbye that 2 Broke Girls never did; you can read that in full here. Eric Andre opens up about being ‘intimidated' by Madonna after bizarre onstage interaction

Comedian Eric Andre has claimed he was 'intimidated' after Madonna sent him a DM following a bizarre onstage interaction between the pair. In March 2024, Andre made a guest appearance at the pop superstar's concert at the Kia Forum Stadium in Los Angeles as part of her Celebration Tour. The 42-year-old, best known for his offbeat parody talk show The Eric Andre Show, took part in the 'Vogue' section of the show where he had to score various dancers out of 10. After being inspired to get involved with the dancing himself, Andre chose to drop his trousers and expose his bare backside to the shocked audience which Madonna found hilarious. Speaking about the incident on Jimmy Kimmel Live (7 April), Andre claimed that 'Madonna has a bit of a crush on me' and that she 'slid into my DMs'. Kimmel asked him to share what the popstar had sent him but Andre remained coy: 'I don't want to put her on front street but there was a little bit of chemistry between was some flirtation.' When asked if he acted on this potential relationship Andre admitted: 'I'm way too intimidated by Madonna. That's the queen of pop. You can't just waltz in there and start 'schtooping' Madonna. You've gotta come in there with roses, you've gotta play Boyz II Men and you've gotta drip chocolate needs to be romanced. She slept with 2Pac and Basquiat – you've gotta bring your A-game.' Kimmel asked if he was interested to which he said he was and added: 'My sister called me and she was like: 'You need to get with Madonna and I'm not taking no for an answer' and she hung up on me. That's a true story but I'm too shy.' It comes after Andre expressed his regret over turning down Kieran Culkin's Oscar-winning role in Jesse Eisenberg's A Real Pain. Culkin, 42, who played Eisenberg's outspoken on-screen cousin, Benji Kaplan, in the dark comedy-drama, won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor at the March ceremony. However, according to André, it could've been him. 'Two years ago, Jesse Eisenberg called me … offered me the [ A Real Pain ] role that Kieran Culkin got the Oscar for,' the 2 Broke Girls alum, 42, recalled on Andrew Santino's Whiskey Ginger podcast. He said he declined the role after reading the script because the movie seemed 'miserable and not in my lane.' 'I was like, 'To go to Poland for six weeks and shoot a movie where we're just babbling about the Holocaust, seems like a bummer,'' André explained.

Car Guy Emeritus Tim Allen Is Back for Second Season of Shifting Gears

Comic Tim Allen will be back for a second season of his latest television sitcom Shifting Gears, it was announced yesterday. The show features Allen as a widowed dad coming to terms with his estranged daughter when she has to move back in with him following the breakup of her marriage. The daughter is played by Kat Dennings, perhaps best known as one of the 2 Broke Girls. Why do we care? Because Allen's character Matt Parker owns a classic car restoration shop and cool cars feature prominently in all episodes. In the pilot, daughter Denning returns in the 'stolen' Pontiac GTO in which she stormed out of her dad's life at age 18. In the shop are all manner of cool cars, from a 409 Chevy Bubble Top to a '55 Chevy Bel Air, a '68 Camaro, and even a Volvo 122S. Many of the cars in early episodes were from Allen's personal collection. 'It's all my classic cars,' Allen told an interviewer for NerdTropolis when the show debuted. 'Some of the old Home Improvement stuff is in there in the background if anybody notices.' The restoration shop is an analogy, too, for the restoration of the relationship with his daughter. Get it? Having watched six episodes of the first season I can say all the elements are present for a successful show, but the characters need to get comfortable with themselves and each other for the comedy to feel more genuine. Here's hoping everything gels. Season 1 was on ABC and also available on Hulu, where you can watch all episodes from the first season. Season 2 will air on ABC and, a day later, on Hulu. No air date for Season 2 has been announced yet.

Beth Behrs Is ‘Grateful' That The Neighborhood Will Get the Proper Goodbye 2 Broke Girls Never Did

Beth Behrs sees a silver lining in The Neighborhood's renewal for an eighth but final season. As the sitcom vet noted on Instagram, her current CBS comedy — which co-stars Cedric the Entertainer, Max Greenfield and Tichina Arnold — now can plan the sort of proper series finale that 2 Broke Girls never got, when it was canceled in May 2017 a full month after its Season 6 finale aired. More from TVLine FBI's Zeeko Zaki Talks OA and Gemma's Future After Train Hijacking - Was He Planning to Propose...? The Neighborhood Renewed for Final Season at CBS FBI's Zeeko Zaki Teases a 'Little Action Movie' for OA/Gemma, Shares Early Buzz on FBI: CIA Spinoff Pilot 'Most of my 20s were on #2BrokeGirls, almost all of my 30s were on #TheNeighborhood and I'll usher in my 40s as we end our story,' Behrs shared on Instagram Tuesday. '@KatDenningsss and I never got a goodbye or an end to our #2BrokeGirls story, and I'm just so grateful to @cbstv for a chance to say goodbye to GEMMA the right way.' Behrs went on to say that 'these last 7 years with my @theneighborhood family has been some of the most memorable of my life. We made it through Covid, strikes, elections… and came out stronger. Forever grateful to our entire cast and crew — here's to the best season yet!' CBS' 2 Broke Girls, which starred Behrs and Dennings as waitresses, headed into its Season 6 finale very much on the bubble. As such, the episode was not written as a series ender. 'This is not the end for these girls,' co-showrunner Michelle Nader said ahead of Broke Girls' April 17, 2017 finale. 'We're not finished and we don't want to be finished and I don't think the audience is finished. Obviously there's no guarantee that we will be back, but we did not write the episode as a series finale.' What turned out to be 2 Broke Girls' very final episode revolved around the premiere of Caroline's (Behrs) biopic and featured a fairly momentous turning point for Dennings' Max. 'This season for us was kind of… I don't want to say a reboot, but we kind of think of the show as just beginning in a way,' Nader said back then.
