A southwest Florida woman won a $1 million lottery prize after buying a scratch-off ticket at a Circle K convenience store, the Florida Lottery announced on April 29. The winner, 67-year-old Gail Riola of North Port, bought a ticket at a Circle K in Port Charlotte, opting to play the 500X the cash scratch-off game for $50. She walked away with a $1 million prize, or $640,000 after fees were taken out. The store where Riola bought her winning ticket also won a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket, the lottery said in a news release. Lottery: Did anyone win the Mega Millions jackpot? To get a prize, players must match their numbers or bonus numbers to any winning number.
