A Florida woman turns $50 lottery scratch-off into $1 million when she wins lottery prize
A southwest Florida woman won a $1 million lottery prize after buying a scratch-off ticket at a Circle K convenience store, the Florida Lottery announced on April 29. The winner, 67-year-old Gail Riola of North Port, bought a ticket at a Circle K in Port Charlotte, opting to play the 500X the cash scratch-off game for $50. She walked away with a $1 million prize, or $640,000 after fees were taken out. To get a prize, players must match their numbers or bonus numbers to any winning number.
