Woman in Wisconsin arrested for allegedly striking man in the face with a knife during argument
MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A woman in Wisconsin was arrested early Monday morning after she allegedly hit a man in the face with a knife during an argument. The Madison Police Department reported that an officer in the 400 block of State Street was called over by a man around 1:02 a.m. on June 16, claiming that he had been attacked with a knife at Peace Park. According to the release, the man said he was arguing with a woman in the park when she pulled a knife and hit him in the face with it. ‘I'm obsessed with you': Student teacher in Menasha accused of misconduct with a student, officially charged
(WFRV) – A student teacher at a school in Menasha had his signature bond set at $5,000 following allegations of sexual misconduct with a student. According to a criminal complaint obtained by Local 5, 23-year-old Cameron Mueller was officially charged with sexual misconduct following alleged incidents with a student. On May 6, a police officer in Menasha was reportedly asked to follow up on a . A witness reportedly heard that a student was 'talking' with the student teacher. The student teacher was identified as Mueller. It was also mentioned that the victim claimed Mueller 'grabbed and smacked' their butt while in class. Authorities ended up speaking with Mueller, who said he had a strictly professional relationship with the student. He reportedly denied sending any photos to the victim or meeting outside of school. Later, authorities met with the student who said they started to develop feelings for Cameron. The student showed authorities a conversation between the two on social media where the two talked about how they are interested in each other according to the complaint. At one point in the conversation, both said, 'I'm obsessed with you.' The student also reportedly said they spent time together outside of school and described an incident that happened in the Fox River Mall parking lot. Mueller was accused of 'aggressively' kissing the student. After speaking with the student, officers arrested Mueller. Mueller is charged with sexual misconduct by school staff or volunteer, which is a felony. He faces up to three and a half years in prison. Wisconsin woman arrested for hitting police squad car with metal baseball bat
MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A 36-year-old Wisconsin woman was arrested on Thursday night after she hit a police squad car with a metal baseball bat and threatened an officer with it. According to the Madison Police Department, an officer was on Fisher Street around 8 p.m. following up on another case, and a woman with a metal bat charged at the officer screaming. Sheriff's Office investigating overnight homicide at Wisconsin gas station 36-year-old Shelia Freaner of Madison then busted a spotlight on a police squad car with the bat, and the officer slowly backed up to put space between him and the Freaner. Freaner then reportedly ran towards a neighbor's house and shattered a window with the bat. Officers safely took her into custody. Police: 33-year-old in Wisconsin was engaged to 15-year-old girl, arrested on child sexual assault & grooming charges
WAUPUN, Wis. (WFRV) – A 33-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested on February 17 after an investigation into a reported sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl who he was allegedly engaged to. According to a Waupun Police Department release, Lieutenant of Investigations Bobby Williams was made aware on January 23 of an alleged sexual assault of a minor by a man. Wisconsin woman with 2-year-old passenger arrested for 5th OWI after multiple traffic violations The man, identified as a 33-year-old from Waupun, was alleged to be in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl from Rubicon. Lt. Williams discovered through further investigation that the suspect was grooming the girl, and additional complaints about the relationship were made. Officials acquired warrants from the Dodge County Circuit Court judge for data and communications between the suspect and victim. On February 17, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office assisted Lt. Williams as they made contact with the victim and suspect at the victim's home in Dodge County. Lt. Williams interviewed both the victim and suspect, learning that sexual contact had occurred on more than one occasion and that the two were allegedly engaged without the victim's parents' consent. Police searching for suspect after squad car sideswiped in Wisconsin hit-and-run Lt. Police searching for suspect after squad car sideswiped in Wisconsin hit-and-run
GREENDALE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southeast Wisconsin are searching for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run after allegedly sideswiping a squad car on Tuesday night. According to the Greendale Police Department, shortly before 10:30 p.m., one of the squad cars, while on a traffic stop on W. Loomis Rd., south of W. Grange Ave., was sideswiped by a dark-colored, full-sized pickup truck. Remembering the influential people who died in 2023 The vehicle did not stop and continued north on Loomis Rd. The officer and the person seated in the rear seat of the squad car were uninjured. The vehicle was unable to be located, but further analysis on Wednesday shows that it is possibly a 2022-2024 gray Toyota Tundra or Tacoma. It is also possible that, until repaired, the glass of the passenger side mirror may still be present, but the plastic housing of the mirror itself will be missing.
