BREAKING NEWS Major update after grisly discovery in an Adelaide unit block
A woman will be charged with murder after a man was found dead inside a unit block. The 65-year-old man was discovered inside the apartment on Walkerville Terrace at Gilberton, in Adelaide 's inner-north, just after 7pm on Monday. A 30-year-old woman was arrested at the scene after officers who attended deemed the man's death to be 'suspicious'. She allegedly smashed a rear window to gain entry to the home. The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for several lacerations. She was arrested in relation to the break-in as well as the man's death. 'She is expected to be charged with murder and will face court at a later stage,' South Australian Police said in a statement on Tuesday.

A woman is expected to be charged with murder after a man's body was found at a unit in an inner-north suburb of Adelaide. Police were called to a unit on Walkerville Terrace in Gilberton at about 7pm on Monday, after reports a person had collapsed. A 65-year-old man was found dead at the scene. Police believe the death to be suspicious. 'Just prior to this report, police were called to another home on Walkerville Terrace after intruders were seen in the back yard,' a statement from South Australian police read. They allege a woman smashed a window at the rear of the unit and gained entry while the residents were inside. Police say the 30-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital for treatment of several lacerations. She has now been arrested in relation to the break-in as well as the man's death. 'She is expected to be charged with murder and will face court at a later stage,' police said. No further details have been released and police said more information would be provided when known.

Man arrested after body found in Sydney home, police say
Homicide detectives are investigating a man's death after his body was found inside a suburban home. Emergency services were called to the property at Homebush West, in western Sydney, about 11.30pm on Friday after receiving concerned reports about a resident's welfare. Local police arrived to find the body of a 65-year-old man inside the home. A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to a police station. He has not been charged. The two men were believed to know each other, investigators said on Saturday. Police set up a crime scene as they forensically examined the property after launching an investigation into the death. Detectives from the New South Wales homicide squad were helping local officers investigate the incident. Police are expected to provide an update on the investigation on Saturday afternoon.
