But the innocence ended Karan pressed further, asking Yash what he planned to give next year, the little boy didn't hold back. He candidly suggested that his father needed a new wardrobe. Roohi joined in, saying they both felt he should stop taking selfies. Karan, taken aback but trying to play along, found himself laughing awkwardly—until Yash delivered one final blow, asking him to stop making 'that face,' referring to Karan's trademark and mock-defeated, Karan jokingly asked why he even needed anyone else to criticize him when he had such brutally honest kids at home. Notably, the project boasts an impressive line-up of producers, including Somen Mishra, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese. Homebound received a positive reception at the prestigious event, further cementing Karan's global influence as a his last production, Kesari 2—starring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan—did not perform well at the box office despite favorable reviews, Karan is far from slowing down. His upcoming slate includes the Punjabi film Akaal, a sequel titled Dhadak 2 featuring Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi, and a romantic drama titled Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.

Amid all this, Karan chooses to focus on what's good and recently posted an adorable video with his twins Yash and Roohi, where the kids prove to be more brutal than any critic or troll. In the video posted by the filmmaker, he asks the kids about not getting any gifts for his birthday. While Roohi defended herself, showing off an origami flower which she gave to him, Yash only had hugs and kisses to offer. Karan asks him, 'Next year, what are you going to give me, Yash?' to which his son replies, 'I think you need new clothes and a new wardrobe.' Filmmaker Om Raut recently answered why he cast actor Dhanush in his next film, 'Kalam: The Missile Man of India', a biopic on Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, India's 11th President, and a celebrated scientist. He unveiled the film's poster while attending the 78th Cannes International Film Festival. Raut shared his vision for the biopic on India's former president and aerospace scientist and the reason behind casting Dhanush in the lead thanked Dhanush for choosing to do the biopic. In a statement, he appreciated the 'Raanjhana' actor for his acting prowess and highlighted what he brings on the table as an artiste."When portraying Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, it's essential to capture not just his achievements, but also his spiritual journey and teachings. That's the most challenging part of a biopic like this. And I don't think there could have been a better choice than Dhanush to bring this spiritual and intellectual depth to life on screen.
