Jason Waite accused of murder after alleged Snitterby altercation
A man will go on trial accused of murder after a man in his eighties died following an alleged Waite, 54, of Church Lane in Gainsborough, was originally charged with grievous bodily harm following the incident in Snitterby on Tuesday 17 December 2024, which saw an 87-year-old man taken to hospital with a head the charge was upgraded to murder after the man died two days later. The trial will take place at Lincoln Crown Court on 29 September. HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. - A Hoffman Estates man was charged with attempted murder in connection with an attack on his 87-year-old neighbor on Thursday afternoon. Michael Fleming, 35, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery of a victim over the age of 60, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, according to Hoffman Estates police. What we know Around 3:39 p.m. on Friday, police responded to the 3500 block of Hillside Court for a report of a fight. Officers arrived and found an 87-year-old man with apparent cuts to his body, including the throat. The 911 caller told authorities that the other man involved in the fight had fled the scene. Before the victim was taken to Lutheran General Hospital, he told officers the name of the alleged suspect. A short time later, police found the suspect near Otis Road in Barrington Hills and arrested him without incident, and identified him as Fleming. The suspect is a known acquaintance of the victim. Cook County prosecutors approved charges against Fleming. Police said the alleged attack appeared to be isolated and there was no immediate danger to the public. Man charged with murder and robbery of 87-year-old
A man has been charged with murder and robbery after an 87-year-old died in north London. Emergency services were called to Goodchild Road in Manor House at about 18:00 BST on Tuesday, where the elderly man was found and taken to hospital with fatal injuries. Peter Augustine, 58, from Hornsey, was arrested on Thursday. He has been remanded in custody after appearing at Willesden Magistrates' Court and will next appear at the Old Bailey on 13 May. The victim has not been officially named but his next of kin are being supported by the Metropolitan Police, officers said. The force is appealing for witnesses to contact them. Man, 58, is charged with murdering 87-year-old man and robbery after police were called to house in north London
A man has been charged with murdering an 87-year-old man and robbery after an alleged robbery in a north London house. Peter Augustine, 58, of Hornsey, is accused of killing an 87-year-old man in Manor House. Police were called to a robbery just before 6pm on Goodchild Road on Tuesday. Paramedics from the London Ambulance service were also rushed to the scene and the man was rushed to hospital where he died on Thursday. This is a breaking news alert, it will be updated soon.
