Virgin Media is back with one of it's most popular deals, which bags shoppers an Apple iPad for free. The catch being consumers will have to sign up to its package, but it drops the £200 price of the 65GB 9th Gen iPad model to £0, so we've rounded up the deal to see if it's worth buying.

This deal is part of the provider's Mega Volt Package, a combined plan that includes internet access and television services. Subscribers will get high-speed broadband, mobile data, and a range of TV channels for a straightforward monthly fee.

The 64GB iPad 9th Gen model, typically valued at £200, will then arrive as part of the plan for free - a deal not currently available elsewhere. The TV part of the plan has more than 250 channels and includes a standard Netflix subscription. Sky Sports HD and Sky Cinema HD at no additional cost are included too. The Mega Volt package also comes with a 250GB O2 SIM which includes data roaming of up to 25GB, with 75 worldwide locations like the USA, Australia and 49 EY destinations on the list.
At £88.99 per month on an 18-month contract, it's clear this isn't a small investment, particularly if you're only interested in the free iPad - in which case, it might not be worth it and we'd suggest shopping around.
