Nick Cannon Launches Relationship Advice Podcast, Social Media Sounds Off
Source: Paras Griffin / Getty As celebrity podcasts continue to take over your favorite streaming apps, yet another has entered the zeitgeist. Nick Cannon is launching a new relationship-based podcast named Nick Cannon @ Night . It will be a remix of the old call-in for advice format, where listeners are invited to ask for advice in his DMs, and he'll do deep dives on topics once in front of the mic. While he was married to Mariah Carey for eight years, Cannon has 12 kids with six different women, so it's safe to say he knows a lot about relationships, so his takes should be interesting at the least. 'When it comes to his personal life, Nick has never shied away, unapologetically leaving the world curious about his views on dating, fatherhood, and modern relationships. So, who better to offer advice?' the press release states. He'll also have actual experts chime in on different relationship aspects, like 'Dr. Laura Berman (relationship expert), Dr. Viviana Coles (relationship and intimacy expert), Dr. Mike Dow (brain health, mental illness, relationship, addiction, and nutrition expert), Dr. Jamye Waxman (sex therapist and sex educator), and Dr. Kerry-Anne Perkins (medical expert; obstetrician and gynecologist).' Cannon is also using his star power to get some of his celebrity friends to open up about their personal lives, with confirmed guests including Melyssa Ford, Raven Symoné, Bobbi Althoff, Hannah Stocking, Rosa Acosta, Flame Monroe, Natalie Friedman, Courtney Bee, and Sarah Fontenot. To mix things up, there will be audience engagement, on-the-street interviews, and debates on hot topic relationship issues. Nick Cannon @ Night debuts July 23 on YouTube, Wondery+ and wherever you stream your podcasts. Cannon is an entertainer at heart, and his elite hosting skills have been on display for years with Wild 'N Out, America's Got Talent , and his eponymous talk show. But social media is pretty wary of taking his relationship advice. See the reactions below. Nick Cannon Launches Relationship Advice Podcast, Social Media Sounds Off was originally published on

Nick Cannon reveals he uses ChatGPT to not 'gaslight,' says he's 'definitely a narcissist'
Nick Cannon is getting candid about therapy. The "Wild n' Out" host, whose fame for fathering a small brood of children has at times overtaken that of his music and television career, revealed in a recent interview that consistent therapy has changed his outlook – and brought new revelations. In an interview with New York Magazine published Tuesday, July 15, Cannon revealed he had multiple therapists and attended sessions with several of his 12 children. "One of my therapists says I'm a machete juggler," he quipped, referencing a full – if not tumultuous – personal life that the public has increased access to. Narcissist, gaslighting, love bombing: A guide to all the buzzwords around narcissism "I'm the boy wonder: Buy your tickets! Watch me do the impossible!" he said. Cannon launched his "Counsel Culture" podcast last year that explores his own interpersonal insights and will debut another this summer, "Nick Cannon @ Night," that doles out dating and sex advice. It may seem counterintuitive for a celebrity with an increasingly complicated family life (his most recent Father's Day was spent shuttling between engagements to see all 12 children) to be dealing in psychological advice, but Cannon told the outlet that that was the point. He wanted to be an example, even if it's for some of the more unsavory parts of relationship building. Narcissists can't stand these traits. Here's how to become immune to narcissists. What is a narcissist? "I had been talking to my personal therapist, and some of the therapists on 'Counsel Culture,' and I was like, 'They throw this word narcissist around so much … 'I'm not a narcissist,'" he told the outlet. "And when I took the test, they were like, 'Yeah, no – you're definitely a narcissist.'" Narcissism, a hot topic particularly in dating, as therapy-speak breaks into the mainstream, refers to a person with an "unreasonably high sense of their own importance," according to the Mayo Clinic. Nick Cannon uses ChatGPT for advice Another hot topic? Using ChatGPT for therapy. Cannon admitted he's not immune. "They're saying people are using it as a therapist, and a friend, and a place to get advice," he told New York Magazine. "I ain't going to lie. If I'm having a conversation or something, I'll ask it like, 'Yo, how should I approach this so it doesn't feel too toxic?' Or 'I don't want to gaslight, but this is what I'm feeling. What's the best way to write this text?'" This mom needed to have a tough talk with her husband. ChatGPT did it for her. And, as for his conversations with real-life therapists, he pushes them to put him in his place. "I'll say, 'Please. This is challenging. This is my life. I've got to take accountability for the world that I created,'" Cannon said.

Create Account We jest now that everything appears to be moving in a positive direction, but viewers were rightly worried after Fox News commentator Camryn Kinsey fainted live on air, sending the network into a commercial break. During a Fox News @ Night segment on Thursday, Kinsey was talking about former U.S. president Joe Biden's recent comments on Kamala Harris' loss in the 2024 presidential election when she appeared to lose consciousness and slip from her chair. A Fox News panelist fainted live on-air ... and instead of immediately attending to her, host Jonathan Hunt awkwardly kept the segment rolling -- instead of, you know, checking to see if she was still breathing. 'This is about incompetency, it's not about uh, uh, ideology,' she said moments before pausing and falling to the ground. 'Oh my goodness,' host Jonathan Hunt said, clearly unsure of what to do or say in the moment. 'We're just going to get some help here for Camryn.' Strangely, Hunt tried to keep the segment rolling rather than checking on her. He eventually decided to take the show to commercial. Upon returning from commercial, the host reassured viewers that Kinsey had regained consciousness. Trump's FEMA faces reckoning as more staff fired in 'political bias' scandal: GOP lawmaker
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has fired three more supervisors in the wake of an internal probe after a crew of disaster relief workers were directed to "avoid homes advertising Trump" in hurricane-battered Florida. Rep. Vern Buchanan, R-Fla., exclusively told Fox News Digital that he is "confident" that the Trump administration will "root out egregious examples of political bias like this at FEMA." "After back-to-back hurricanes devastated Florida and left many in our area with nothing, it's incomprehensible that FEMA relief workers were skipping over those in need," he said. "FEMA has the responsibility to serve every American equally, regardless of their politics." Fema Official Said To Avoid Homes With Trump Signs: 'To Say I Was Surprised Would Be A Lie' Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., echoed the Republican lawmaker's sentiments, lauding the agency for its aim to provide "impartial assistance." "I also appreciate FEMA taking necessary action to fire these individuals complicit in bypassing homes and conditioning aid as well as to provide additional training for the agency's employees," she told Fox News Digital. Read On The Fox News App According to Buchanan, citing FEMA sources, at least 20 homes with pro-Trump campaign signs or flags were bypassed by relief workers from late October through November 2024 as a result of guidance from a FEMA supervisor directing workers to avoid these homes. The additional firing of the staffers came after Buchanan sent an inquiry to FEMA that was co-signed by 54 other elected officials demanding transparency after it was revealed that management at the disaster relief agency instructed workers to pass over Trump supporters. Cameron Hamilton, the current acting administrator of the agency, announced in a Tuesday letter that an "exhaustive investigation" had concluded the supervisors failed to "meet our standards of conduct" or rein in their partisan behavior. Hamilton noted that their investigation did not reveal that this was a "systematic problem, nor that it was directed by agency or field leadership." "It is essential that the entire workforce understand that this incident was reprehensible, and this type of behavior will not be tolerated at FEMA," Hamilton wrote. Hamilton's comments that the directive was not a "systematic" issue at the relief organization directly contradict what Marn'i Washington, the FEMA supervisor who was fired, told "Fox News @ Night." House Oversight Calls On Fema Director To Testify After Official Tells Workers To Avoid Home With Trump Signs WATCH: Fired FEMA official says she's being scapegoated Washington said the agency threw her under the bus, alleging that she simply communicated a policy that came from her higher-ups. "Why is this coming down on me? I am the person that jotted down the notes from my superiors and my notation in [Microsoft] Teams chat was exposed from their search capacity team," Washington said. In response to Fox News host Trace Gallagher asking, "So you're telling me these orders came from somebody above?" she said, "Correct." The former FEMA employee alleged that the Florida team had already been avoiding Trump voters' homes prior to her work there. "This was the culture. They were already avoiding these homes based on community trends from hostile political encounters. It has nothing to do with the campaign sign. It just so happened to be part of the community trend," Washington explained. READ HAMILTON'S RESPONSE: MOBILE USERS Click Here Investigations were launched after FEMA confirmed to Fox News Digital in November that an employee had instructed aid workers to deny relief to residents who had Trump campaign signs at their homes. The Daily Wire was the first to report it. Shortly after the news broke, FEMA announced the termination of Washington. "FEMA helps all survivors regardless of their political preference or affiliation," a FEMA spokesperson told Fox News Digital in November. "The employee who issued this guidance had no authority and was given no direction to tell teams to avoid these homes, and we are reaching out to the people who may have not been reached as a result of this incident." The spokesperson added that the agency has helped more than 365,000 households affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton in Florida and provided "nearly $900 million in direct assistance to survivors." Hamilton said she has directed additional training to staffers to "reinforce that political affiliation should never be a consideration in the rendering of assistance." House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chair James Comer, R-Ky., lauded FEMA for "holding bad actors accountable." Click To Get The Fox News App "Political affiliation should never be a factor in distributing taxpayer-funded disaster relief to Americans," he said in a release. "Americans demand accountability in Washington and President Trump and his administration are delivering it."
