Pawan Kalyan breaks silence on delay in release of Hari Hara Veera Mallu: ‘I could not give my time to shoot'
Pawan Kalyan 's upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu has grabbed attention for more than one reason. Recently, the producer of the period action thriller, A.M. Rathnam, revealed that the actor won't be joining the film's promotions. And now the senior star joined in for the press meet of his film and made some interesting remarks. Pawan Kalyan does not like boasting about his own film Speaking at the event, Pawan Kalyan took center stage and remarked that he considers himself to be an accidental actor. He further mentioned how he usually does not like boasting about his films or even the work that he does. He added, 'I am an accidental actor. I do not like to boast about my films and the work I do. But, I have decided to conduct this press meet only for A.M. Rathnam garu. Despite having a pre-release event this evening, I wanted the press meet to happen now.' It survived two COVID phases and also a creative disturbance. After I shifted my focus to politics, I could not give my time to the shoot. But Rathnam garu worked hard to complete the film.' Rathnam under the banner of Mega Surya Productions, and its music is composed by M.M. Keeravani. The film is touted as a two-part project.

Rathnam recently engaged with both print and digital media, offering insights into the film's journey, clarifying common misconceptions, and revealing exciting plans for fans. Addressing the mounting anticipation, Rathnam confirmed that the team is gearing up for special paid premieres across Telugu states. 'We're planning paid premieres for Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Once permissions are secured, we aim to announce 9:00 PM shows on July 23,' he revealed. Clarifying widespread belief about delays, the producer explained, 'The film didn't consume too many shooting days. The period setting and scale of the narrative demanded more effort. That's what prolonged the timeline, not excessive shoot days.' Rathnam also addressed speculations about the film being based on a historical figure. 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu is purely fictional. It's a creative story set in the 17th century and not a biopic,' he stated firmly. Expressing his confidence in the film's impact, Rathnam added, 'After watching this movie, people will say — 'Rathnam, you've made a fine film!' That's the response we're striving for.' New Delhi: Pawan Kalyan returns to the big screens in the much-anticipated period action epic Hari Hara Veera Mallu slated for a worldwide release on June 12, 2025. The film, which has already created a buzz with its chart-topping songs, has now unveiled its third single, 'Asura Hananam.' Released today, the single is already being hailed as the fiercest musical offering of the year. Marking its debut, the makers wrote, "Rise like the Bhairavam. Roar like a warrior with "ASURA HANANAM" from 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu (Hindi)' Featuring PSPK, Bobby Deol, and Nidhhi Agerwal.
