2 teenage boys, man in custody after shots fired incident in Anne Arundel County
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. () — Two teenage boys and a man are in custody after shots were fired in Anne Arundel County on Monday afternoon, according to officials. The Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office (AACOPD) said that around 3 p.m., a deputy was working detail when units with the Anne Arundel County Police Department were dispatched to a shots-fired and weapons threat in the area. Once on the scene, police arrested two people and charged them with assault. Man found shot multiple times in Waldorf; investigation underway Deputies said that as the investigation unfolded, a minivan, believed to be connected to the incident, tried to leave the area, but was pulled over. During the traffic stop, the van collided with the deputy's patrol vehicle. That's when multiple people exited the van and started running. Following a brief foot chase, authorities took a suspect into custody. According to the sheriff's office, the suspect had a Glock 9 mm handgun on them, and a second gun was discovered in the van. Man arrested after police find drugs in vehicle during traffic stop in Anne Arundel
ANNE ARUNDEL, Md. () — The Anne Arundel County Police Department (AACOPD) said a man was arrested after police found drugs in his vehicle during a traffic stop in Severn on Jan. 28. ACCOPD said that at about 2:40 p.m., police made a traffic stop for a red Chrysler at Pioneer Drive and Reece Road. Silver Spring dog park set to close for renovation project After searching the vehicle due to probable cause, officers found and seized 80 pills of suspected Ecstasy, about 16 vials of suspected Cocaine, and 15 vials of suspected Marijuana.
