Man arrested after police find drugs in vehicle during traffic stop in Anne Arundel
ANNE ARUNDEL, Md. () — The Anne Arundel County Police Department (AACOPD) said a man was arrested after police found drugs in his vehicle during a traffic stop in Severn on Jan. 28.
ACCOPD said that at about 2:40 p.m., police made a traffic stop for a red Chrysler at Pioneer Drive and Reece Road.

After searching the vehicle due to probable cause, officers found and seized 80 pills of suspected Ecstasy, about 16 vials of suspected Cocaine, and 15 vials of suspected Marijuana.
The man, identified as Larry Joseph Mason, 40, from Baltimore was arrested and charged with CDS distribution and possession-related offenses.

Las Vegas man sentenced to prison for selling ghost guns, cocaine
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A Las Vegas man was sentenced on Friday after pleading guilty to selling ghost guns and cocaine, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. Richard Edwin Sanchez pleaded guilty to one count of engaging in the business of dealing firearms without a license, one count of distribution of cocaine, and one count of possession or transfer of a machine gun in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. Sanchez was sentenced to three years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. According to court documents, from April 24, 2023, to August 3, 2024, Sanchez engaged in the business of dealing in firearms without a Federal Firearms License by selling 17 firearms, including .223, .40, and 5.56 caliber firearms, 9mm firearms, and a 12-gauge shotgun. Of these firearms, 10 were Glock semi-automatic firearms capable of being converted into fully automatic weapons using machinegun conversion devices provided by Sanchez, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. In addition, he sold 21 machinegun conversion devices. Of the Glock pistols, nine were sold with large capacity magazines, two were stolen, and two others were associated with at least five shootings in the Las Vegas and North Las Vegas area. Two other firearms sold had either no serial number or an obliterated serial number. Additionally, Sanchez sold a total of about 435 grams of cocaine, the U.S. Attorney's office said. Aussie arrested in Bali in fresh drug shock
Another Australian man has been arrested in Bali for alleged cocaine possession, Indonesian media has reported. A video from the Radar Bali news service appears to show the arrest taking place in the tourist hotspot of Bandung on Thursday. The man and a female passenger were reportedly stopped by police for not wearing helmets while riding a motorcycle. The video shows police officers inspecting a small bag, which appears to contain a white powder substance. 'Ah, no, no, no, no,' the man says when police discover the bag. 'Try it, it's panadol. Panadol brother,' the man shouts in the video. 'Test it, it's panadol!' The police claim the man later confessed the powder was cocaine. Local media reports the police said the bag had been sent for testing and the test showed the powder to be cocaine. A Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade spokesman confirmed an Australian had been detained in Bali. 'We are in contact with local authorities and stand ready to provide consular assistance, to any Australian citizen, should they request it,' the spokesman said. More to come.

MAURICE, La. () — Two people were arrested on drug charges, and one of them for alleged cockfighting, as a result of a traffic stop in Maurice, authorities said. Vermilion Municipal and Sheriff's Narcotics Task Force conducted a traffic stop June 6 on Beay Road in Maurice that led to a search of a nearby residence.
