Wichita Falls' James Lane AC & Plumbing wins top award
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Wichita Falls-based James Lane Air Conditioning and Plumbing has been named Residential Contractor of the Year by the Air Conditioning Contractors of America.
The awards were presented at the ACCA National Conference, which was held in Round Rock from March 24 to 27.

The ACCA is a national trade association that represents thousands of contracting businesses across the United States. It recognizes resident HVAC companies that demonstrate exceptional professionalism, leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to quality and innovation to the industry.
Clayton Lane, President and third-generation leader of James Lane Air Conditioning and Plumbing, said the honor reflects the dedication and work ethic of the entire James Lane team.
'To receive this national recognition is a testament to our employees, whose commitment to excellence and customer service has built our reputation over nearly seven decades,' Lane said.
In addition to the Contractor of the Year award, Leo Lane, former president of James Lane, was also recognized with the ACCA Community Leadership Award due to his lasting impact through service, mentorship, and civic involvement.
