Crypto traders launched sick meme coins in tribute to the terrorist accused of slaying two Israeli Embassy staffers in Washington DC within a few hours of his arrest. Elias Rodriguez, 31, was arrested for fatally shooting Yaron Lischinsky, 28, and his soon-to-be-fiancé, Sarah Milgrim, 26, just after 9 p.m. Wednesday outside the Capital Jewish Museum. By Friday afternoon the digital asset saw a market cap of $24,000 — down 61% over the previous 24 hours. Advertisement As of Friday afternoon, approximately 550 people had bought the twisted token. He allegedly leaned over the bullet-riddled duo and continued shooting, then followed Milgrim as she made a desperate attempt to escape, firing at her again, the documents showed. The Chicago native was seen reloading his weapon before firing at Milgrim once more. Rodriguez was charged Thursday with first-degree murder, murder of foreign officials, causing the death of a person through the use of a firearm and discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence in federal court.

Man Who Killed Israeli Embassy Staff Was Mistaken For Traumatised Bystander
Washington: After the street outside the Capital Jewish Museum in DC echoed with sounds of gunshots, witnesses offered water and help to a man they thought was a traumatised bystander. Minutes later, they learnt he was the man who allegedly shot dead the two Israeli diplomats. Elias Rodriguez, 30, appeared visibly distressed and disoriented when he entered the museum after Wednesday night's shooting. Witnesses rushed to help him, unaware he had just gunned down Yaron Lischinsky, 28, and Sarah Milgrim, 26, outside the American Jewish Committee's ACCESS Young Diplomats Reception. "He was soaking wet, in a state of shock," Yoni Kalin, who was inside the event, told The NY Post. "We just thought he was a bystander." Sara Marinuzzi, another witness, said Rodriguez entered the museum shortly after the shooting. "We all figured he was a witness [because] he was so shaken up," she said. He stayed with the group for 10-15 minutes as they believed they were sheltering alongside a fellow survivor. Witnesses said they acted on instinct. "When a man comes running in distress, the immediate instinct is to help," said Ms Marinuzzi. "And that's what we did." Mr Kalin recalled Elias Rodriguez being calm until police arrived, when he suddenly confessed, saying, "I did this. I did this for Gaza," and yelled, "Free, Free Palestine. From the river to the sea and there's only one solution, the intifada revolution." Panic erupted when he reached into his backpack, but instead of a weapon, he pulled out a red keffiyeh scarf. He was then tackled by museum staff and security before being arrested by police. Mr Lischinsky and Ms Milgrim, colleagues and romantic partners from the Israeli Embassy in DC, were shot at while approaching a crosswalk. Security footage shows Rodriguez walking past them, turning, and firing multiple rounds. After they collapsed, he moved closer and fired again, emptying 21 bullets from a 9mm handgun. Elias Rodriguez travelled from Chicago to DC a day earlier with the legally purchased gun in his checked baggage. He was in town for a work-related conference. Mr Lischinsky was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:14 pm. Ms Milgrim died shortly after being taken to the hospital. Elias Rodriguez now faces multiple charges, including murder. According to police, he admired Aaron Bushnell, the former US serviceman who set himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy last year, yelling "Free Palestine." Rodriguez called him a "martyr."

'I did it. I did it for Gaza,' Rodriguez reportedly confessed moments after the killing — yet he targeted a Jewish event, not an Israeli one. Rodriguez, born and raised in America with no obvious link to the Middle East, is a man of the modern left, following in the footsteps not just of the 'pro-Palestine' lunatic who recently firebombed the home of Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-Pa.) but also of Luigi Mangione, much lionized as the 'health care' assassin. Indeed, posts from what's thought to be Rodriguez's X account applaud Mangione and praise political violence; they include thinly veiled death threats to Jews as well as 'Death to America.' He's a onetime member of the far-left Party for Socialism and Liberation, some of whose recent posters have forthrightly urged 'Extreminate Zionists!' In short, Rodriguez did just what all those college protesters have been demanding: 'Globalize the intifada.' No matter that Lischinsky was a Christian, nor that Milgrim worked on building peaceful collaborations between Palestinians and Israelis: Such details don't matter to progressive haters. Old-school right-wing antisemitism is still real and periodically deadly, but it's astonishing how far the global left has interpenetrated with Islamist antisemitism: Hamas, after all, imposes sharia law in Gaza. It's not just the lust for violence that unites them, but a hatred for Western civilization.

On his profile, he expressed his fervent hopes to forge a more peaceful future between Israelis and its Middle East neighbors. 'I'm an ardent believer in the vision that was outlined in the Abraham Accords and believe that expanding the circle of peace with our Arab neighbors and pursuing regional cooperation is in the best interest of the State of Israel and the Middle East as a whole. To this end, I advocate for interfaith dialogue and intercultural understanding,' he wrote. Milgrim had a master's in international studies from American University, and a second MA in natural resources and sustainable development from the United Nations University of Peace. 'My passion lies at the intersection of peacebuilding, religious engagement, and environmental work,' Milgram wrote on her LinkedIn page. 'While working with Tech2Peace in Tel Aviv, Israel, I conducted comprehensive research on peacebuilding theory, emphasizing grassroots initiatives in the Israeli-Palestinian region.' The couple both worked out of the Israeli Embassy in DC, and their friendship blossomed into romance which was cut tragically short. The Israeli embassy shared a tribute to the couple on X soon after the slayings, 'Yaron and Sarah were our friends and colleagues,' they wrote. 'This evening, a terrorist shot and killed them as they exited an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in DC. The entire embassy staff is heartbroken and devastated by their murder. No words can express the depth of our grief and horror at this devastating loss. Our hearts are with their families, and the embassy will be by their side during this terrible time.'

FBI raids Chicago home of DC Jewish Museum shooting suspect Elias Rodriguez
Armed FBI agents clad in tactical gear stormed a Chicago apartment building reportedly connected to suspected terrorist Elias Rodriguez, who allegedly gunned down two Israeli Embassy workers in Washington, DC, last night. Video posted by NBC Chicago shows at least eight agents wearing camouflage and armed with rifles entering the front gates of the apartment building on a leafy green street in Chicago's East Albany Park neighborhood.
