Originally appeared on E! Online Catherine Paiz and Austin McBroom were struggling in more than one aspect. As the YouTubers—who shared the ACE Family channel—navigate life after filing for divorce last January following seven years of marriage, Catherine shared that they hadn't been sexually intimate for years towards the end of their relationship due to his infidelity. "It was actually more like five years of not being intimate with him," Catherine told Alex Cooper on the May 28 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast. Sex and intimacy are very, very sacred to me. hen I found out there was cheating, I checked out. said, 'My body is a temple and I refuse to allow anybody to come near my temple if he cannot be honest and truthful and loyal.'" The 34-year-old—who shares kids Elle, 9, Alaia, 6, and Steel, 4, with Austin—noted that she had learned he had been cheating on her while she was three months pregnant with their youngest. "I was going through a lot postpartum," she recalled. Your body changes, breastfeeding and you're taking care of multiple children." She added, "I found out he was cheating on me and that was it." Beauty for $1 Billion Catherine alleged that Austin, 33, didn't pursue her sexually, either, which was how she said she knew "there was cheating going on." "Now, I know how that's not normal," she explained regarding their lack of intimacy. "At the time, I thought we were going through a lot. There were a lot of bad things happening around us. We have children, we're overworking, we're tired, we're stressed. We're anxious." E! News has reached out to reps for Austin for comment and has not yet heard back. Although Catherine pointed to Austin's infidelity—which he admitted to in his Snapchat Stories May 12—as the reason for their relationship's demise, she admitted that she didn't handle challenges in their marriage well, either. "I'm a huge part of this problem," she said. "I take full accountability for being in a relationship with someone and also not pursuing intimacy. Although I was disgusted and I didn't want to be intimate, I didn't have these very serious conversations like, 'Hey, maybe we should go see a therapist, maybe we should do couples therapy.'" "This wasn't normal, going another year without being physically intimate," the influencer continued. "It is such an important part of a marriage and a relationship." Austin claimed in his Snapchat posts that not only did Catherine know about his extramarital affairs, but she condoned his decision. However, she vehemently denied the accusation. "One thing he said that really just was a punch to the gut was, 'Yes, I cheated and she was OK with it as long as I said you don't embarrass me,'" she told Alex. "That is not true. I never ever said that. I would never say that. I would never want my kids to think that it's OK to cheat on your husband or your wife." For more celebrity breakups, keep reading. ‘My husband cheated on me with 20 women, said don't react': Ace Family's Catherine Paiz breaks down over Austin McBroom's cheating
YouTuber Catherine Paiz, who rose to fame with the infamous ACE Family vlogs alongside her ex-husband and former partner, Austin McBroom, opened up about some of the most talked-about topics from her married life during a recent interview with Alex Cooper. On the Call Her Daddy podcast, Paiz told Cooper how she was haunted for years, living in disbelief as the internet quickly jumped on Austin's relationships with different women. At the time, she and Austin were always together, working, raising their kids, and building a business, so she brushed off the rumours, thinking, 'That can't be true.' She debuted her new relationship on Instagram in 2024 after ending her seven-year marriage to Austin, which broke down due to his infidelity. Catherine and Austin secretly tied the knot in 2017 but only made it public in 2020 after announcing their third pregnancy. The ex-couple share three kids together, Alaïa, Ellea, and Steel, and were together for almost seven years before quietly calling it quits in 2024. During the podcast, Cooper pressed Catherine on the rumours that circulated on the internet for years and asked if she could remember any specific moment when everything changed. Paiz revealed there wasn't just one moment, but several. Also read: Jackie Chan did not want to become an action star, The Karate Kid helped him change perception: 'I wanted to be like Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman' She also shared how Austin would always shut her down whenever she thought about bringing things up, saying, 'It's just part of the territory. Don't react, it'll just make it worse. It's not true.' She believed him because she trusted him. But over time, things didn't sit right, and the excuses started sounding vague. 'There were moments I didn't know what to believe. Some things were true, some were distorted, some were not true — so it was really hard to tell,' she said. Recalling one such incident that stuck with her forever, Catherine said it happened right after they had their second daughter, who was just 6 months old. At the time, Austin said he had to fly to Miami for a business trip, and Catherine encouraged him to chase his dreams while she stayed back, taking care of the kids, all while being exhausted from daily shoots, breastfeeding, and everything else. Catherine described how the two would talk on the phone, but she remembered hearing multiple women's voices in the background. She ignored it at the time, thinking there were no red flags. Then, months later, a male makeup artist posted a video on YouTube spilling tea about what Austin had been up to in Miami. 'A couple months go by and this blonde male makeup artist makes this video on YouTube talking about my husband and how he was in Miami and there was this group of people and there was all these girls and there was this boat,' she added. Catherine never watched the video herself, but her friends did and filled her in. Also read: Yellowstone star Kevin Costner sued over 'non-consensual rape scene' in Horizon 2 by stunt performer: 'Deeply betrayed, shocked' But the cheating saga didn't stop there. When Catherine was pregnant with their third kid, the couple were live on YouTube filming some content related to their daughter, and at the time, a mysterious text popped up on his phone with a message that read, 'If you really loved your wife, you wouldn't be—' Though she recalled not being able to read the full message, she said something felt off and chose not to speak to Austin for a few days, until he admitted that he had been texting other women and came clean. But it wasn't until years later, when Catherine released the first chapter of her book, Dolores, My Journey Home, in May 2025, that she heard Autin saying, 'I cheated.' Catherine also said that although she knows for sure of three women, there are rumours that Austin told people it was around 20. She doesn't know the full truth, but says she remembers how painful it was to live through it. On May 13, just days before her Call Her Daddy episode dropped, Austin posted a 31-minute Snapchat video where he confessed: 'I 100% stepped out of my marriage.' He said it was wrong, that he takes full responsibility while wishing to turn time back but, then he added that Ctaherine supposedly knew what was going on the whole time and even told him: 'Just don't make me look dumb. Don't embarrass me.' Dismising the same on the podcast, the YouTuber said, 'I never said that. I would never be okay with cheating.'

She said: 'I grabbed the phone. This long text comes through 'If you really love your wife.' I was like, yelling, screaming, 'Tell me please, please just tell me who that was. Ace Family's Catherine Paiz details Austin McBroom cheating scandal on podcast
Catherine Paiz is breaking her silence on what really ended her marriage to Austin McBroom. In a new Call Her Daddy podcast interview, the former ACE Family star revealed the truth behind their 2024 divorce — and confirmed years of cheating rumors. The couple, once beloved for their family vlogs on YouTube, built a fanbase of over 18 million subscribers by sharing daily life with their three kids: Elle, Alaïa, and Steel. But in January 2024, they quietly announced their split. Now, Paiz has revealed McBroom cheated with at least three women she knows about — and possibly up to 20. McBroom addressed his infidelity on Snapchat earlier this year, claiming Paiz was okay with it as long as he didn't embarrass her — a claim she strongly denied. 'I would never say that,' Paiz told host Alex Cooper. 'You never cheat on the person you love.' Their once-idyllic family life began to unravel in 2021 following financial and legal controversies, including the foreclosure of their $10 million home. The couple stopped posting to their ACE Family YouTube channel in 2023. Despite the split, the two remain committed co-parents and live minutes apart for the sake of their children. Paiz has since gone public with her new boyfriend, Igor Ten, while McBroom says he'll keep his relationships off social media. Paiz's memoir Dolores: My Journey Home, released in May 2025, explores her healing journey after years of betrayal. Though the ACE Family era is over, both stars are now focused on personal growth and raising their children peacefully.

Catherine Paiz On Austin McBroom's Affairs: Call Her Daddy
Whether you kept up with them out of snark or earnestness, there's a new update on the ACE Family saga. The vloggers, consisting of Austin McBroom, Catherine Paiz, and their three children, have over 18 million followers on YouTube — even if they haven't regularly posted in two years. Why the hiatus? Last year, the couple announced that they were getting divorced. Austin wrote on Instagram at the time, "We have mutually agreed to a divorce but will remain a team when it comes to our kids." Similarly, Catherine posted, "We have mutually agreed to a divorce and will part amicably." Two weeks ago, excerpts from Catherine's upcoming memoir DOLORES: My Journey Home: (Finding Myself Beyond The ACE Family)--BOOK ONE made the rounds online, in which Catherine writes of being cheated on. Austin then confirmed in a video that he did cheat on Catherine, saying, "I 100% stepped out of my marriage, and it was completely wrong for me to do it" — but then claimed that he had done so with her knowledge, provided he didn't "embarrass" her. "She knew exactly what I was doing and when I was doing it so much to where she stayed with me another five, six years after that, she continued to film every YouTube video with me after that, she even went as far as defending me, defending my name, when people would ask her about me stepping out," he further claimed. Now, Catherine has just been interviewed on Call Her Daddy, where she goes into the cheating scandal in depth. When asked when she first found out about the infidelity, Catherine claimed that it was while she was pregnant with their third child and he was "in Miami for a meeting." She further noted that she was "exhausted" and didn't notice anything amiss other than Austin calling her "a little too much" and him "pocket dialing" her while he was talking to some women. A few months later, someone made a YouTube video claiming that Austin had been with a number of women. Though she is unable to watch it to this day, her friends surmised the video, to which she said, "I remember bawling and thinking, 'Is this true?' And even if it's not true, why are people saying this? This is so detailed. I didn't believe the horrors, but it was like, am I just being stupid right now? Or do I vindicate him? Do I vindicate our family? And that's what I did." "I think back at my old self and think, poor girl, I wish I could hug her today. She was just going through so much. The old version of myself just wanted to protect that little peace we had in the family," she continued, saying that she had to "focus" on the baby she was having. She alleged that Austin denied any cheating and claimed that someone was trying to "extort" him through lying. "I was just lying to myself. I knew deep inside something didn't feel right," she continued. She then said that a few weeks later, she had to borrow Austin's phone to film their daughters first haircut, when she saw a message come in that began, "If you really loved your wife, you wouldn't be..." Though she said there was "yelling" and "screaming" that day, she wasn't able to get clarity on who the message had come from until later, when he said it was from "a girl that needed help with Snapchat." Noting that she was "traditional" and had "stick by your husband" values, she said she chose to forgive him. "It never felt apologetic, ever," she said. "Even through our divorce, even through everything, I never heard him say the words 'I cheated' until about a week ago when that first chapter of my book came out." "You could have just been honest with me and just told me, but it was like I was being gaslighted, like it wasn't actually happening. I think that finally hearing those words was so healing for me because I wasn't going crazy," she continued, alleging that she "never ever said" that it would be okay for him to cheat on her: "You never cheat on the person you love and I would, never in a million years say that, so that was really hurtful." Catherine further said that she knows "for sure" of three women who allegedly had an affair with Austin. Austin hasn't responded to the full interview yet, but he did comment on a promo of the episode by writing, "Dropping this on my daughters birthday is crazy." What a mess...
