Dubai Duty Free July Sales Hit Record AED638.8 Million, Up Nearly 10% from Last Year
Dubai Duty Free (DDF) reported AED638.8 million in sales for July 2025, marking its highest-ever revenue for the month and a 9.7% increase compared to July 2024.
The milestone places July 2025 in ninth position among the operator's all-time top-performing months. Year-to-date sales reached AED4.73 billion, up 5.86% over the same period last year, outpacing passenger growth, which stood at just 2.3% for January–June.
Perfumes, gold, and confectionery led the surge, with perfumes up by 10.3%, gold up by 15.5%, and confectionery recording a 57% jump. Luxury fashion brands including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Cartier also delivered strong results, with DDF's CA and CB boutiques growing by 11.36%. The REKLAIM pre-loved luxury concept generated AED14.3 million in total sales since its launch, with Rolex emerging as the standout performer.
Managing Director Ramesh Cidambi credited the success to strong team performance and customer demand for luxury, despite flat passenger numbers and global retail challenges. The operator remains optimistic about 2025, already marking five record-breaking months out of seven so far.
