Matt Hardy Cautions Young Wrestlers Of Burning Bridges With Other Promotions On Social Media
TNA Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy urges Young Wrestlers to be cautious about burning bridges with other promotions. During his The Extreme Life With Matt Hardy podcast, he emphasized that wrestlers should focus on their own work and keep a positive attitude, rather than criticizing other promotions publicly. 'One thing I would say is learn how to not be overly opinionated when you're talking about other promotions. Learn how to shut the hell up and just worry about what you're doing, speak positively, and stop talking negatively about other places.' Advertisement The TNA star warned the young wrestlers that being overly opinionated could hurt future opportunities, especially if a wrestler ends up released. 'Because if you do get to that point where you do get released and you're gone, then you've kind of screwed yourself up from going somewhere else. Pro wrestling is a small world in the big scheme of things… don't burn bridges before you have an opportunity to go somewhere else just in case.' He also encouraged wrestlers to be smart about their use of social media instead of engaging in online negativity. 'If you're a wrestler, if you're a performer, be better than that, be smarter than that, and learn how to just talk about the things that are positive, the things that you like, and let your grievances go. The best thing you can possibly do is if there's something you don't like, just shut the hell up about it.' 'As I'd said last week before we ever got to the pay-per-view event… I feel it's one of those times where, you know, the Death Riders thing, it has pretty much run its course,' Matt Hardy said. 'I love Jon Moxley [and] I think in many ways, Jon Moxley is the heart and soul of AEW; I think he busts his ass for AEW. 'He takes these crazy risks and he puts it on the line for AEW week in and week out, no doubt, but I think it is time to go a different direction and try and start something new that could possibly catch fire. AEW really, really, really needs something to get hot and catch fire to kind of get their momentum back, I think so. I don't necessarily understand their whole mission at AEW, what are they trying to accomplish?' Toni Storm Threatens To Drain Mercedes Moné's 401K And Make Her Drink Her Bath Water
Photo Cedit: AEW The 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament commenced at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view. As always, the winner of the tournament will earn a Women's World Championship match. Recently, the current AEW Women's World Champion 'Timeless' Toni Storm sent a message to all the participants of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Advertisement 'Ladies, good luck. But this is a Timeless Cafe. And I am going to bake up the biggest batch of slop tarts you have ever seen. Billie Starkz, you johnny-come-lately, milked-breathed, nobby kneed little brat, I will make a woman out of you. Harley Cameron, call me Jim Henson because I will wear you on my wrist and make you sing Rainbow connection…' Toni Storm also sent a warning to Mercedes Moné, Jamie Hayter, and ROH Women's Champion Athena. 'Mercedes Moné, our CEO, what an unfortunate nickname. I will drain your 401K and put you so deep in a recession you'll have to drink my bath water. Kris Statlander, my God! What a woman! Athena, You may be the Ring of Honor forever champion but you will last about two minutes with me. And Jamie Hayter, take my advice: no money has ever been made from dressing like you are in a different era. And as for me, I could sit at home and watch this entire tournament, eating Veal Parmesan. But that's not the kind of woman I am, yet. Nevertheless, at Double or Nothing I will be there, I'll be watching, and I'll be sweating. And I will always be, Timeless,' 'Timeless' Toni Storm said. Who do you think will win the 2025 Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament? FTR Attack Another Longtime Friend On AEW Collision
ftr aew revolution dax harwood cash wheeler FTR took to the ring tonight on AEW Collision to explain their attack on Cope, and later on attacked another friend. In the ring tonight, the group said that they attacked Cope at AEW Dynasty because they deemed him selfish. They said it wasn't a premeditated thing, but felt Cope was more concerned with trying to relive his glory days as a legend. Afterward, they turned their attention to Tony Schiavone. One thing led to another and FTR then grabbed Schiavone and set him up for a piledriver, but Nigel ran into the ring. He and FTR began jawing with one another, letting Schiavone get up. To help Nigel, Daniel Garcia then came running out. Advertisement He went to grab Harwood, but Harwood turned and shoved Garcia. This shocked Harwood, and he immediately began helping up Garcia, while profusely apologizing. Later on in the show, FTR beat Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang in a tag team match. After the match, Garcia (who was at ringside) kept yelling at the duo to stop assaulting Magic and Ang, however, and that led to chaos. FTR grabbed Garcia and turned their sights on him, surprisingly attacking their longtime friend. The group wasted little time dismantling Garcia, and had him set up for a dual piledriver move when security came running out. FTR attacked them and the refs, though, and only stopped when the Paragon came running out to save Garcia. The segment ended with FTR leaving the ring and jawing with Paragon as they left.
