Air India flight from Bengaluru to London cancelled for checks
Bengaluru: Air India's AI133 flight from Bengaluru to London, scheduled to depart at 2.15pm Monday, was cancelled due to ongoing safety inspections mandated by the govt on certain Boeing aircraft.
According to an airport official, this was a scheduled cancellation and all passengers were informed in advance. The aircraft was undergoing routine checks as part of a broader directive concerning Boeing fleet. "Safety checks are still under way. All affected passengers were offered a free rescheduling option or full refund," said an airport source. The flight was originally set to reach London at 8.20pm local time on June 17.
