Saudi Team Wins 4 Medals in First AI International Olympiad
The Saudi artificial intelligence team has clinched four international medals in its first participation in the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2025, according to the Saudi Press Agency. Held from August 2 to 9 in Beijing, the IOAI brought together 284 students from 85 countries around the world. The Saudi team consisted of four students who previously obtained required training and supervision from the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and KAUST Academy. By taking part in this prestigious scientific event, Saudi Arabia seeks to empower talented students and provide them with unique opportunity to compete internationally in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence.
