On the camera front, Vivo Y400 5G smartphone sports a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera is a 32MP sensor for selfies, video calls, and more. Leveraging the smartphone's IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, Vivo has also incorporated an underwater photography mode. Vivo on Monday (August 4, 2025) launched the new Vivo Y400 5G smartphone in India for the mid tier buyers. The new Y series phone has gen AI features like AI Transcript Assist, AI Note Assist, AI Documents, Circle to Search, AI Superlink and Focus Mode. For its target audiences, it also features underwater photography. Vivo Y400 5G has a 6.67 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits of local peak brightness.
