JoJo Siwa Just Revealed That A Stalker Sent Her A 'Man-Made Bomb' And Sex Toys When She Was 12 Years Old
JoJo Siwa just candidly recalled a 'very scary' incident with a stalker when she was a child star on Dance Moms. JoJo, now 21, opened up about it on the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother, which she is a finalist on.
For reference, JoJo first found global stardom when she was just 9 years old and appeared on the second season of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition. She and her mom, Jessalynn Siwa, joined Season 5 of Dance Moms shortly afterward, which followed the training and careers of child dancers at Abby Lee Miller's school, Abby Lee's Dance Company — or 'ALDC' for short.
She quickly became one of the show's standout stars, and during the two seasons she appeared on Dance Moms, JoJo launched her own YouTube channel that quickly gained millions of subscribers.
Thanks to her growing popularity, JoJo was snapped up by Nickelodeon, and she and Jessalynn left Dance Moms halfway through Season 6.
Since then, JoJo has maintained a hugely successful TV, music, and social media career, and was even included in Time's 2020 list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
She entered the British Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this month and has proven to be a fan favorite, with many viewers admitting on social media that they didn't expect her to come across as well as she has.
And JoJo reflected on the scary parts of child fame during a private conversation with Big Brother on last night's episode of the show. Answering Big Brother's question, JoJo shared: 'The weirdest thing I've ever had delivered to me before? A bomb."
'I had a crazy, crazy, crazy stalker, and he sent me loads of things: sex toys, knives, but he sent me a bomb, a man-made bomb, and that got him put in prison for five whole years,' JoJo went on. 'I was little. I was only… 13? 12? I would have been 12 or 13… He got out when I was 17, so I would have been 12.'
JoJo concluded: 'At the time, it was very scary. Obviously now, still, it's very scary, but I have an incredible team around me who protect and handle things like that the way they need to be, but yeah, scary.'

Needless to say, this revelation only reiterated to viewers just how much JoJo has been through already in her career. Quote-tweeting a video of the Diary Room scene, one person wrote: 'This girl has been through so much for someone so young. You could never make me hate her.'
'things like this just make feel bad for jojo because being brought up as a kid in the spotlight would definitely be a very unusual experience. being sent a bomb and sex toys as a 12 year old is disgusting and traumatic,' another tweeted.
'How the fuck do you only get 5 years in prison for sending a 12 year old weapons, sex toys and a whole ass bomb?? Of course Jojo is so emotionally mature, she's been through a lot,' somebody else wrote.
Earlier this week, fans reflected on the cruelty that JoJo endured as a child star when she appeared unfazed by face-to-face nominations that left several of her other housemates in tears. Speaking to Big Brother at the end of the day, JoJo nonchalantly said: 'For me, personally, not a tough day. For the people around me… Very tough day.'

Viewers familiar with JoJo's past weren't exactly surprised by this, considering her experience on Dance Moms as a minor — where she was often left in tears after being screamed at by the controversial teacher Abby Lee Miller.
In fact, in one shocking episode of the show, Abby set the other children 'homework' to come up with all the reasons why JoJo should be kicked out of the dance school.
'She deserves nothing! Don't have an attitude that you are entitled in this world, you deserve nothing,' Abby shouted at the time. Noticing that JoJo was now crying, Abby then snapped: 'No crying children."
