Iran in "IDF'S Sights, Ready For Wars in Multiple Arenas', Turkey Warns Israel On Dividing Syria
The Israeli military chief has called for his country to be prepared for a multi-arena campaign amid a 'complex and challenging' security situation. The IDF chief of staff made the remarks during the first multi-front situational assessment held on July 21 in nearly two years. 'The IDF must operate offensively across multiple arenas alongside vital defence in each sector and along our borders,' Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said. 'We will continue preserving air superiority and advancing the intelligence effort', the IDF chief was quoted as having said. The IDF chief described the Israel's ongoing war in Gaza as 'one of the most complex' the military has ever faced.
