PM Modi inaugurates 3 Vande Bharat trains, Bengaluru metro's Yellow Line

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday flagged off three new Vande Bharat Express trains and inaugurated metro line in Bengaluru, reported news agency services will connect Bengaluru to Belagavi, Amritsar to Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, and Nagpur (Ajni) to Pune, enhancing travel experience for passengers and providing world-class travel the railway event, he inaugurated the Yellow Line of the Namma Metro and took a ride from RV Road (Ragigudda) to the Electronic City metro station. The Yellow Line is a part of the Metro Phase-2 project, stretching over 19 km with 16 stations and a project value of approximately ₹7,160 PM Modi also laid the foundation stone for the Bengaluru Metro Phase-3 project. With a budget of over ₹15,610 crore, this project will span more than 44 km and feature 31 elevated stations. The new phase aims to address the city's growing transportation demands, connecting residential, industrial, commercial, and educational Prime Minister's visit, which included a public address, was met with praise from local leaders. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah received PM Modi upon his arrival."It's a dream come true for lakhs and lakhs of Bangaloreans," Vijayendra told ANI, highlighting the anticipation surrounding the Prime Minister's visit and the new metro line's impact on the region.>
