H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee and Senior Vice President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), met on Monday with Mustapha Berraf, President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA), on the sidelines of the 45th General Assembly of OCA. Both officials emphasized the need to deepen collaboration through ANOC's global platform, which supports 206 recognized NOCs in advancing the Olympic Movement and its values worldwide. The two leaders also discussed expanding intercontinental opportunities for knowledge exchange, youth engagement, and strategic hosting initiatives, reinforcing the importance of multilateral partnerships across the Olympic family.
