Silver futures ease Rs 749 to Rs 1,14,132/kg
Last Updated: New Delhi, Aug 11(PTI) Silver prices on Monday declined Rs 749 to Rs 1,14,132 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery decreased Rs 749, or 0.65 per cent, to Rs 1,14,132 per kilogram in a business turnover of 15,328 lots. Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices. Globally, silver was trading 0.70 per cent lower at USD 38.07 per ounce in New York. Gold futures fall Rs 237 to Rs 98,532/10g
Agency: PTI Last Updated: New Delhi, Aug 1 (PTI) Gold prices on Friday declined Rs 237 to Rs 98,532 per 10 grams in futures trade amid muted spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery depreciated Rs 237 or 0.24 per cent to Rs 98,532 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 12,512 lots. Analysts attributed the fall in yellow metal prices to weak global cues. In the international markets, gold futures rose 0.17 per cent to USD 3,295.60 per ounce in New York. Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices. Globally, silver was trading 0.19 per cent lower at USD 38.13 per ounce in New York. Agency: PTI New Delhi, Jul 25 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday rose Rs 117 to Rs 1,15,250 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery increased Rs 117 or 0.1 per cent to Rs 1,15,250 per kg in a business turnover of 19,844 lots. Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said. Globally, silver was trading 0.06 per cent higher at USD 39.09 per ounce in New York. Analysts attributed the fall in yellow metal prices to weak global cues. In the international markets, gold futures slipped 0.35 per cent to USD 3,375.59 per ounce in New York.
