Zach Wilson's Dolphins debut had one head-scratching throw
Zach Wilson looked like his old self. In all the worst ways. During the Dolphins' preseason game against the Bears on Sunday, the ex-Jets bust bounced what would have been an easy touchdown pass to Tanner Conner on a second-and-goal play early in the second quarter. Advertisement Wilson faked a handoff, rolled to his left and was under pressure, but Conner was wide open and could have waltzed into the end zone. Chinese state media says Nvidia H20 chips not safe for China
Nvidia's H20 chips pose security concerns for China, a social media account affiliated with China's state media said on Sunday, after Beijing raised concerns over backdoor access in those chips. The H20 chips are also not technologically advanced or environmentally friendly, the account, Yuyuan Tantian, which is affiliated with state broadcaster CCTV, said in an article published on WeChat. 'When a type of chip is neither environmentally friendly, nor advanced, nor safe, as consumers, we certainly have the option not to buy it,' the article concluded. President Trump banned the sales of H20 chips to China in April. AP Advertisement Nvidia did not immediately respond to a request for comment. H20 artificial intelligence chips were developed by Nvidia for the Chinese market after the U.S. imposed export restrictions on advanced AI chips in late 2023. The administration of President Trump banned their sales in April amid escalating trade tensions with China, but reversed the ban in July. Advertisement China's cyberspace watchdog said on July 31 that it had summoned Nvidia to a meeting, asking the chipmaker to explain whether its H20 chips had any backdoor security risks — a hidden method of bypassing normal authentication or security controls. Nvidia later said its products had no 'backdoors' that would allow remote access or control. In its article, Yuyuan Tantian said Nvidia chips could achieve functions including 'remote shutdown' through a hardware 'backdoor.' Nagasaki mayor warns about possibility of nuclear war 80 years after A-bomb
NAGASAKI – Thousands bowed their heads in prayer in Nagasaki on Saturday to mark the 80th anniversary of the city's atomic bombing, as the mayor warned that current global conflicts could push the world again into nuclear war. The western Japanese city was levelled on August 9, 1945, when the United States dropped a 10,000-pound plutonium-239 bomb, nicknamed 'Fat Man', instantly killing some 27,000 of the city's estimated 200,000 people. By the end of 1945, the death toll from acute radiation exposure had reached about 70,000. Nagasaki's destruction came three days after a U.S. uranium-235 bomb destroyed Hiroshima. Chile returns $125,000 in luxury watches stolen from Keanu Reeves by South America-based crime ring
Chilean authorities said Tuesday they turned six valuable watches stolen from Canadian actor Keanu Reeves — including an engraved Rolex worth at least $9,500 — over to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, months after recovering them in a police raid. Browns tell Quinshon Judkins to stay home after ugly accusations by girlfriend
Quinshon Judkins will not be a part of the usual rookie proceedings in Cleveland. The running back won't report to Browns training camp on Friday as the team told him to focus on his legal situation after his arrest on battery and domestic violence charges on July 12, according to Judkins allegedly punched his girlfriend in the mouth with a closed first after arriving on a flight at Fort Lauderdale International Airport on July 7. Five days later, the woman reported the incident, saying the delay was because she 'felt bad due to the recent success and career of the defendant,' according to the police report. However, since the incident and as more details unfold, Judkins' future in the NFL is getting more complicated. Judkins began to allegedly grow angry at baggage claim at the airport after reading messages from family members. According to the arrest report, Judkins and the woman had been living together since May 2024 up until December of that same year. However, they were not in a relationship from December until June when the couple got back together. The 49ers' Alfred Collins, Bears' Ozzy Trapilo and Chargers' Tre Harris also recently inked deals as second-round picks as the group sought more guaranteed money.
