Tata Harrier.ev Rivaling Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e Get 10,000 Deliveries In 70 Days
Mahindra & Mahindra has announced a new milestone for its first born electric vehicles. As per the latest update, the Indian automaker has delivered 10,000 units of the XEV 9e and the BE 6 SUVs within 70 days of initiating the process, which began on March 20. Meanwhile, the combined bookings of the EVs stand at 30,179 units. The announcement from the automaker comes at a time when a new rival has entered the market in the form of the Tata In April, the brand announced a delivery of 3,000 units of the EVs. At the time, the XEV 9e had 59 per cent of total bookings while the smaller BE 6 had 41 per cent of the bookings. The automaker also confirmed that most consumers opted for the top-spec "Pack Three" variant of the vehicle. The Mahindra XEV 9e features a 79 kWh battery pack, which has an ARAI-certified range of 659 km. It is capable of achieving a real-world range exceeding 500 km. There is also an option for a 59 kWh battery pack that offers a range of 542 km. The Mahindra BE 6 comes with a 79 kWh battery pack as well, which has an ARAI-certified range of 682 km on a single charge. Furthermore, the company provides a 59 kWh battery pack option that yields a range of 557 km. Additionally, both electric SUVs are packed with a long list of features. The XEV 9e is equipped with a three-screen configuration, while the BE 6 features a two-screen setup. Each of the displays in these SUVs is 12.3 inches in size. Additionally, both vehicles come with ADAS, a luminous panoramic sunroof, ventilated seating, up to seven airbags, and have earned a 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP. The Mahindra XEV 9e is available at a price ranging from Rs 21.90 lakh to Rs 30.50 lakh, whereas the BE 6 is offered at a price between Rs 18.90 lakh and Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Upcoming Kia Carens Clavis official fuel economy numbers revealed
Kia India is gearing up to launch the new Carens Clavis and has revealed the ARAI-certified fuel economy for the MPV. The all-new Kia Carens Clavis will be offered in two engine options with 4 different transmissions. Available at dealerships and online, the Carens Clavis is slated to launch on May 23. However, the Korean carmaker has revealed the ARAI-approved fuel efficiency numbers for its upcoming seven-seater MPV to excite potential buyers. Under the hood, the Carens Clavis will offer a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 113 bhp, a turbo petrol variant delivering 158 bhp, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine generating 114 bhp. Both the turbo petrol and the naturally aspirated petrol will come with a new manual transmission, while the turbo petrol and diesel engines will also have automatic transmission options available. Kia Carens Clavis: Fuel-efficiency (ARAI-certified) Fuel efficiency numbers vary based on both the fuel type and the transmission it has been paired with. The petrol-powered Carens Clavis returns a fuel economy of 15.95 kmpl mated to the 6-speed manual and the 6-speed iMT. On the other hand, the 7-speed DCT will give you 16.66 kmpl. In the diesel powertrain, the 6-speed manual goes up to 19.54 kmpl, whilst the 6-speed AT will return an efficiency of 17.5 kmpl. All of the figures mentioned are ARAI-certified. The front of the vehicle showcases significant revisions, including the new signature boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, updated headlamps, and a more upright profile. The closed grille shares design elements with the new Syros and EV9 models. The bumper has a more angular design. While the overall profile remains similar, it now includes new 17-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, redesigned 'Starmap' LED taillights are connected by a lightbar. A new Ivory Silver Gloss paint option is also available. Kia Carens Clavis: Interior Inside, the cabin features a new look with a 26.62-inch panoramic screen that integrates the digital instrument console and infotainment system. A new two-spoke steering wheel with an offset Kia logo enhances the interior. The vehicle maintains a three-row configuration, and the second row includes a one-touch electric tumble feature for easier access to the third row. The second-row seats can also slide and recline. In terms of features, the Clavis is equipped with an 8-speaker Bose sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, smart key enabled windows for one-touch operation, a seat-mounted air purifier with roof vents, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a four-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, among others. Safety is prioritized with six airbags, electronic stability control, a rear occupant alert system, plus a comprehensive suite of 18 active and passive safety features. Kia Carens Clavis: Variants and colour options Kia has announced that the Carens Clavis will be offered in select variants: HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX, and HTX+, which highlights its premium positioning relative to the standard Carens. The model will be available in several color options including Ivory Silver Gloss, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Grey, Sparkling Silver, Aurora Black Pearl, and Clear White. Kia Carens Clavis: Expected pricing While Kia has yet to confirm the launch date for the Carens Clavis, it is expected to hit showrooms within a few days, with prices anticipated to start around ₹ 10.50 lakh and peak at ₹ 19.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Kia Carens Clavis Mileage Revealed Ahead Of May 23 Launch
Kia India recently unveiled the Carens Clavis, leaving the price announcement for May 23. Along with this, the South Korean automaker refrained from revealing the mileage of the MPV at the time. Changing that, the automaker has made the ARAI-certified fuel efficiency numbers public for the MPV. Before discussing the details, it is worth noting that the new MPV is available for booking for a token amount of Rs 25,000. It can be booked via the automaker's website or dealerships. Kia Carens Clavis gets three engine options in the country. The list includes a 1.5-litre NA petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Meanwhile, the transmission options include a six-speed MT, six-speed iMT, seven-speed DCT, and a six-speed AT. Among these, the diesel engine with MT offers the maximum mileage of 19.54 kmpl, while the lowest number, i.e., 15.95 kmpl, is attributed to turbo-petrol with MT and iMT. This is barring the data of NA petrol. The most powerful of the lot is the turbo-petrol with an output of 156 hp and 253 Nm. In terms of features, the Clavis is equipped with a variety of high-end options, such as a pair of 26.62-inch panoramic displays, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a dual-camera dash cam with mobile connectivity, front ventilated seats, built-in navigation, and a Bose premium audio system.
